Dennis, the Valet was excellent! It is unfortunate that the hotel would not give us cash chain so we could ship them properly. The only option was to leave the hotel and go to another location to get change.
Was in town for a family event June 18-20, 2021. Stayed at the Hilton Uptown. Very nice hotel, extremely clean, nice staff, great in-house restaurant for appetizers, lunch and dinner. Only two complaints - you have to pay for parking - which I believe should be waived if you are a guest at the hotel - and the in-house restaurant breakfast needs to be improved. To explain further - they do not have sit down service for breakfast, you place your order with the check out clerk (who seemed a bit overwhelmed) choose a table and sit and wait for it. Could not order more than one item - meaning eggs and french toast (that was not an option) and they did not have half and half for the coffee - not that they ran out, it was not an item they offered. Would be great if the Hilton would revise their policy on parking for guests and work on improving the restaurant for breakfast. Other than that - extremely nice hotel, clean and friendly staff.…
Great valet service! Anthony Espinal was our valet and provided rapid, quick, courteous, and professional service. What more can we say??? The room was great, the food at costal (bar and restaurant located in the hotel) was also great. UNC beat Michigan! Go Heels!!!
We stayed here for the location. If you're going to the Spectrum Center it's a short walk away. It's a very comfortable and inviting hotel. The executive lounge was very nice. It had plenty of drinks and snacks. It also had some awesome views of the city. The breakfast buffet was very good and the staff were great. Our room was very nice and clean. We had a great time there and was able to just relax and enjoy ourselves.
Thanks to the awesome front desk clerks we were able to check in early and get ready for the wedding we were attending. Addison, the valet, was fantastic. He helped get our luggage to the room and answered all questions we had. Top notch service!
Location: very good, you can walk to convention center, restaurants, etc For coffee, numerous great coffee shops Room: size very good, utility good, condition: slightly worn, BIG PROBLEM reeks of Febreeze. Cleaning: they offer once a week cleaning and if you need anything, such as more shampoo, all you have to do is call and they bring it up quickly Food: The Coast restaurant is quite good. It takes a few calls to get the room service to pick up, but once you do it only took 30 minutes or less to get meal. This is only for bfast and dinner, lunch have to go elsewhere Exercise : a GREAT YMCA in building contiguous with the hotel to which you had ready access but not open on Sunday. On Sunday you can go to planet fitness -I was not able to try that. Supposedly you show your room key and they let you in Staff: hit or miss on friendliness, definitely functional and usually helpful Basically I felt this was great place to stay especially if at meeting BUT biggest downside was the Febreeze stench in the room and a little understaffed. Really liked the YMCA…
As a small business owner, I know good customer service and Jonathan at the valet was awesome! Our stay was for our anniversary and it was a great staycation. Charlotte is great and we enjoy staying at Hiltons as a diamond member. Breakfast was good also.
This place was excellent. Really what made it so great was a few things and I’ll start of with the service. Keisha who I believe is the manager is the best. She took care of us from the first day and every day after. The staff here is friendly, showers and beds are great and excellent views. What’s also great about this place is the location, not only located center of uptown, the lynx train is less than a black away which means you are literally close to everything. I thank the staff, Keisha, and you definitely want to book here if exploring Charlotte!
I recently stayed two nights at the Hilton Charlotte Uptown for a conference. Upon check in the staff were extremely unhelpful and refused to give me any of the amenities typically offered to Hilton Gold Honors members such as bottled water. I requested a room on a higher floor and the Hilton staff could not accommodate. During my stay the room was not cleaned or refreshed, we had to reuse towels and make up the beds ourselves. I explained this to the same Hilton Staff member who check me in “Jeanne” during check out and was told that Hilton no longer offers cleaning services for the rooms during the stay due to staffing shortages.
Daniel is a fantastic bartender. He is personable and knowledgeable and quick to serve. 5 stars all day. Drinks are measured, which is want you want. Can tell you anything you want about restaurants nearby
