Excellent service from the parking garage to our spotless 15th floor room. We were greeted immediately with a smile and helpful information from Addison the parking attendant, he helped us with luggage, directions, and lots of questions. Our room was SPOTLESS, very spacious and beds comfy. The in room coffee was good, with real cream, not the tiny powdered junk. I requested extra cream and sugar and received it within a few minutes. The restaurant/bar is warm but roomy and the food was great. The chocolate expresso martini was EXCELLENT. but the best for last was our lovely server Almaz, she went above and beyond and radiated warmth and love. I hope this large hotel giant recognizes the associates like Almaz, Addison, and all the other employees that we didn't get names like the restaurant manager all the valets and parking attendants were the best! And make it very likely we will return

Hubby & I stayed 6 nights for a conference. Our room was very nice and the bed was quite comfortable. All the staff members we interacted with were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Anything we needed was provided right away. The restaurant was also very good. We ate several of our meals there.

When we checked in we were told that parking would cost 24 dollars a night. Not sure why that would not be included but ok. Our room was done early which was nice. We were handed the key cards and left to the elevators. We do not usually stay in a Hilton hotel so we were new to the fact that you had to use your room key to get to our floor. A little warning would have been nice. They had signs before you get to the elevators but we were so happy to be there, we did not pay it no mind. The rooms were absolutely clean, beds had plenty of good pillows and nice covers. No plastic bags in the very small trash cans, made me feel a bit uneasy to put trash in it.Rooms were very quite. We did not pay extra for breakfast. The hotel is located very central and everything we needed was within walking distance. The view was great, we were on the 17th floor. We felt safe there due to having the key mechanism to access certain floors. The tram was also connected to the hotel and within walking distance. All in all a pretty good stay.

I was checked into a hotel room without clean, usable water. The water in the toilet, sink, and shower were all yellowish-brown. When I inquired with the front desk, one of the staff members was upfront about the water issue affecting the rooms on one side of the hotel. Despite this, a second staff member offered to put us in another room (same room type) on the same floor/side of the hotel. When we declined, it was then he mentioned the only other option, which was to put us in a same room type on a higher floor (executive floor).
We agreed and transferred our belongings to the next room, only to discover the toilet in that room made loud sounds which kept us up throughout the night. We did notify the staff of this issue at checkout. As a customer and Diamond member, I expect through brand loyalty to be treated with a level of respect and being placed into a room without clean water (a basic necessity) was unacceptable.
The only great moments of my stay were the proximity to attractions in Uptown and the degree of guest servicing in housekeeping, the restaurant and the lounge. The staff in those areas deserve a raise for keeping this hotel's customer service afloat. If you decide to stay at this hotel, here's hoping you're checked into a room on the "good side" of the floor, if there even is one.

I recently stayed two nights at the Hilton Charlotte Uptown for a conference. Upon check in the staff were extremely unhelpful and refused to give me any of the amenities typically offered to Hilton Gold Honors members such as bottled water. I requested a room on a higher floor and the Hilton staff could not accommodate. During my stay the room was not cleaned or refreshed, we had to reuse towels and make up the beds ourselves. I explained this to the same Hilton Staff member who check me in “Jeanne” during check out and was told that Hilton no longer offers cleaning services for the rooms during the stay due to staffing shortages.

We went here after celebrating my 8 yr old birthday at CaroWinds. I thought a nice hotel stay would make up for us getting rained out the park! The hotel is dark and gloomy. It’s not a luxury hotel as I thought it would be. Believe me, after 6 years serving in the USAF I had my sure of luxury hotels and this is not it. The Bath shower door would not remain close during my shower. So for a relaxing shower forget it!
The rooms are tiny. My son told me it reminded him of the Best Western they remodeled in Winston Salem but noted Best Western was cheaper. The Valet guy was amazing. My kids were told they could not eat their pizza in the hotel restaurant sitting area while I waited on my soup that I ordered from their kitchen. Understand that is is the only area they have to eat food and it was in an open area. I said I am simply waiting on my soap I ordered from your restaurant and you are telling me my kids can’t take a bite of their pizza. She was an India lady from India (I know this because she was very excited to talk to this white lady eating and told her) and she said “No they can not eat!” She repeated this 4 times. I had my 13 year old to take my 6 and 8 year old up stairs to eat while I waited on my soup. I complained to the front desk and the guy said he never hear of that rule and that he would report it to the manager. He gave me a free coke! Lol I will not come back here and do not suggest this place. The Air Force always had us in Marriotts but I thought I would give The Hilton a try. Never again.

This Hilton is clearly an older property with clunky elevators, faded carpets and outdated color schemes. The rooms are spacious although the bathrooms are a bit small. My favorite feature is free access to a YMCA that is practically in the property and has every conceivable fitness amenity (and there is free access to a nearby Planet Fitness!). The location is also quite good in the heart of downtown Charlotte near area office buildings, dining and culture and museums like the Bechtler, Mint and NASCAR museum.

The room is very nice and Brenton was a great help with our luggage, unloading the car to the cart and then followed us to our room to drop it all off in our room. I love this service. We had a great dinner in the restaurant downstairs also.

I was meeting up with some friends in Charlotte over a long weekend in April 2024 and had the opportunity to spend three nights at this Hilton. Overall, it was a nice hotel! I enjoyed my stay.
My check-in process went smoothly, and my room (#1921) was clean and comfortable. The location of this hotel is great, and it has a lot of good amenities including access to the YMCA. I also had breakfast at the hotel one of the mornings during my stay, and it was pretty good. Plus, I liked having access to the bar and was able to enjoy a beer on one of the afternoons during my stay.
There were only a couple things about the hotel that I didn't like as much (minor but worth mentioning). First, there's no hot tub available in, for instance, a pool area (no hot tub at the Y). Second, when I was checking in, I was offered assistance taking my luggage to the room... but the lady who assisted me wouldn't take no for an answer when I told her I could do it myself. She insisted which I didn't like. I did, however, appreciate the fact that self-parking was available and I wasn't forced to use the valet service.
Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would have no qualms about staying here again if I need lodging again in downtown Charlotte.
