My family stayed here for two nights in April 2017. The facilities for this campground are quite nice. The bathroom is clean and updated, the showers had good pressure and plenty of hot water. We stayed in a one bedroom cabin and it was adequate. The staff seems to be mostly college age kids but they were attentive and friendly....

The campground is very nice, offering 3 fishing ponds, a couple jumping pillows, 1 jumping pad, mini golf, indoor pool and outdoor (small) water park area. The surroundings are absolutely beautiful as you are tucked in between mountain ridges on all sides. There is a nice river (Raven Fork) running beside and a stream running through. I did not fish...

First time in a KOA, probably had some high expectations based on the reviews. First, it is a great location, very close to the Oconaluftee Visitors Center and SMNP. Surrounded by hills in a river valley with access to fishing all around. Downtown Cherokee is 5 minutes away. The facilities to keep youngsters occupied looked great and we saw a...

We got there to check in and pay the rest of the reservation fee. Suddenly, the total price was well over what the website indicated, the confirmation emails indicated, and even their "explanation" of why it was so much more didn't total up to the amount we were charged. Apparently, there was a rush of people just doing walk in's...

The site is clean and probably good for families. I just travel with a tent while visiting the Smokies. A few drawbacks for me (maybe fine for others) 1) resembled a mobile home park. 2) way too crowded. Each site was on top of another. Maybe 15 feet between you and your neighbor . 3) it's right on a busy...

Quick spring break trip. We stayed in a deluxe cabin overlooking the river. It was clean, well kept, and had everything we needed and in a very quiet end of the campground. The rushing water sound was so peaceful! All the staff were friendly and helpful and patiently answered all our questions. Indoor pool and hot tub were a definite...

Spent a couple of nights in February in a cabin on the river. All linens were included, kitchenette, fridge, gas fireplace, grill on deck and a fire pit. Employees were polite, helpful, parking at the door, can't wait till go back. Fishing was pretty good, also!

Stayed here for 2 nights. Season has not really started so some amenities not open like pool or arcade. Kids loved the bounce pillow and I loved the carry out food service. It was decent enough and cheap and meant that I didn't have to cook. Facilities were clean and well maintained. Kids went swimming in March thanks to the...

KOA really sucks. Like 95% of the staff is rude as heck. The bathrooms are always dirty. The location is great. Other than that the place is horrible. I definitely won't be back. The big boss is rude.
