Stayed here on a Friday night. Innkeeper was very friendly. Honor bar in the family room. Lovely backyard with hammock. Within walking distance of historic downtown. Lots of quaint shops. Got great restaurant recommendations for dinner and lunch on Saturday. Banana pineapple smoothie was a nice touch with breakfast pre-triathlon. Mini cupcakes and chocolate left out for snacking. This is...

We choose the Ashford for the half way point on our drive to FL. While it is a bit off the highway, it is a true oasis worth the small detour. The property itself is beautiful and comfortable. We stayed in two different rooms. Each was beautifully appointed with spacious bathroom and all the mechanicals functioned perfectly. Our host Julie...

Had to be in Fayetteville for business, and decided to stay at the Ashford Inn - even though it was a bit of a drive to my appointments the next day. Sooo glad I made that decision! The coddled eggs (local, farm fresh, free range - wonderful!), thick cut bacon from a local farm, polenta, and warm banana with granola...

Needed a place to stay while visiting family (1st Grandson!). Ashford Inn is a historic home within minutes of downtown and medical facilities. We stayed in the pet friendly cottage. Very enjoyable. Breakfasts were creative and great! Will stay again on next visit. Thanks Julie!

Driving from Washington to Charleston, SC over Christmas, we fled soul-less Interstate 95 at Smithfield, NC US 701, a barely discernable thread on the map. Taking us south and east, 701 is an interminably flat, nevertheless scenic, rural American artifact that we clipped along at 60 m.p.h. Recalling the same detour a year ago, my companion Yvonne and I again...

Went to Clinton to visit some friends and decided to stay at the Ashford Inn for 2 nights. This was our very first experience at a B&B and although we were apprehensive it turned out to be an awesome experience from start to finish! Julie was an excellent host, making us feel right at home. The Inn was impeccable, cozy,...

On our way from PA to Charleston SC, we needed a place for the night. Using TripAdvisor we found the Ashford Inn. We were greeted by a very friendly staff member who showed us all around and made us feel welcomed. We loved the house itself which was classy and comfortable at the same time. There was a very comfortable...

Our room was nicely appointed and very clean. Service was great. Nothing but good old fashioned southern hospitality. Our room was on second floor but stairs were not an issue. Our room was quite and we were in no way bothered by outside noise or noise from within the home. We felt this property was a very nice bed &...
