Traveled to Duke for an orthopedic consult...excellent hotel with friendly staff and comfortable beds...10 minutes from the medical center...ADA rooms were well set up for anyone with accessibility needs...one suggestion, expand the number of handicap parking spots..

Stayed here for two nights, visiting family. The hotel is your basic Courtyard Marriott. We were on the 3rd Floor in Room 353. 1 King bed with a sofa bed. The room overlooked the outdoor pool. Room was located near the end of the hall however there is a Elevator at each end of the hotel. Hotel was really clean... More

We were visiting Duke for parents weekend and the Courtyard was very conveniently located. The rooms were standard size and comfortable. My big complaint was the "Bistro". It took me 20 minutes just to get a cup of coffee (they serve Starbucks so every person order some fancy latte) and the breakfast "Healthy Sandwich" was anything but healthy....full of grease.... Nothing exciting about this hotel but it's certainly suitable if you need to be near Duke University, which is nearby (requires a short drive). Suburban location but you can walk to a Walgreens and some cheap eats in the strip mall across the street. Bed was clean and comfortable and room was quiet. Breakfast is entirely a la carte, food... This was the first time we stayed at this Courtyard and I was rather disappointed. Upon arriving the TV, Remote and Refrigerator did not work. Calling down to the front desk - "just plug it in". Oh ok, that is how that works. Since I arrived very late driving in I just went to sleep. Next Day remote did not... More

I had stayed at this hotel before and had a great experience. Coming back, not so much. The first room I was had water pouring in from the window. Carpet soaked and drapes wet.Ok, it was raining outside. I was given a new room. Went to take a shower and the tub would not drain. Was heading back to the... More

Stayed here with my nephew as he was getting a tour of Duke university to play soccer. Hotel wasn't bad just you could here all the road traffic, not very soundproof doors or windows. Room was clean, no free breakfast, front desk was very nice and helpful though.

Outdated room overlooking block of offices. Breakfast not included in $180 per night stay. Coffee comes in a Starbucks plastic cup. Charged card $20 per day despite no purchases........ Would certainly not recommend, overpriced and you would find better facilities at a 2.5* hotel.

My wife and I came to North Carolina for a friend's wedding on the 17th September. The wedding reception was held at Croasdale Golf Club nearby so this was the perfect base for us. We stayed for 3 nights. The hotel offered excellent value at $109 per night with the wedding party discount. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable.... More
