The lobby of the hotel is newly renovated. They have a bistro for breakfast. The pool area was really nice and they have a fire pit at night. The staff was really nice and very helpful. The rooms and the interior hallways could use some refreshing. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. The hotel is very...

We were here for only a brief overnight while attending a Duke University graduation. We didn't have time to use any of the amenities (restaurant or pool). However, Shane was very friendly checking us in at our late arrival. The room was modern and clean. Despite the hotel being full with guests in town for graduations, the hotel was very...

Overnight stay for business in the area. Staff was awesome, very attentive as soon as you walk in the door. Rooms are large and clean. A big plus was a balcony. On-site bistro is a great addition. Much more of a hotel than you expect.

We stayed overnight here to attend a concert. It was more expensive than usual - all the hotels in the area had increased their rates because it was graduation weekend at Duke. Our room was attractive and very clean. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. Check in was slow - there was only one person at the...

The shuttle to the Duke campus wasn't operating (Friday afternoon) so we had to settle for a taxi ($30 RT - out of pocket). I should note the staff was, however, very solicitous. The room was small (the luggage cart would barely fit) and otherwise nondescript. Breakfast was not included. Given the rate, not a great value. No, I wouldn't...

They have a shuttle, but we did not utilize it, we just got to Duke early to park in the better spot. I am glad we did that because we could head directly after that to UNC. But originally I had planned on using the shuttle and I think it is a great option. Very comfortable hotel, and what looks...

This is my third stay in a Courtyard Marriott. They all looked the same, and I like the decor and amenities. Clean and comfortable. The price was excellent, although note that breakfast was not included. For a small cafe, the food offerings are quite good, although the small staff was pressed to meet the demand at 8 am. It was...

It's an older property, well located, convenient to restaurants by walkng and nice. The bistro is good. Rooms - i don't like the drab gray design but many Courtyards have that. The bed was comfy and the furnishings modern. They perfumed the pig very well here. The gym was nice - but you had to go outside to get there....

I recently checked into the Courtyard near Duke for a one night business trip. The front desk staff, the property aesthetics, the room features and accessories were all top notch. I'd been on the road a while and this one night let me recharge in comfort. I made the reservation from the road and I was traveling with a colleague...

While the hotel is in need of a refresh the staff and public space makes up for some of its negatives. The shuttle to Duke Medical was a main driver in choosing this hotel and I would likely return if the situation dictated a return to Duke. The room is on the small side but comfortable. Wifi is not very...
