First trip to Durham, and we enjoyed a beautiful fall weekend by staying at the King’s Daughter’s Inn. What a gem! The location is directly across from Duke and the Inn itself is sophisticated, warm, and welcoming. Our room was so comfortable with great art deco style, comfy bed, and nice flat screen TVs. We loved coming back each evening...

As someone who travels like a crazy person ("travelo muy loco") it's always nice to stay at a small inn with personality after nights of Courtyards near airports. Let's see... Great staff. Cookies, coffee, and other snacks always downstairs for your daytime snacking needs. Breakfast was solid - bacon was deliciously crispy. The room: spacious and handsome. Clean. The bed...

I'm not really a fan of B&Bs - too much forced intimacy. The King's Daughters gets it completely right. Small and intimate but also very private. My room was lovely with a fabulous sunroom attached. The amenities were excellent. Lovely bed. Great service. A good breakfast (they do French press coffee so ask for that if you are not a...

Friendly and very helpful staff, generous turn down service, awesome water pressure in shower, about a 30 min walk to Duke's west campus (inn is across from the east campus but nothing much going on there), average breakfast.

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome here. Our room on the first floor -The Saunders- was first class. The decor and attention to detail was perfect and our sunroom was great for relaxing in with a glass of wine- or two. Breakfast did not disappoint either. This is a high end B&B and others...

As a member of a wedding party that booked the entire Inn for the weekend I cannot say enough good things about it! From the gourmet, included breakfast with stellar coffee to the helpful staff and clean, comfortable rooms, it was a very positive experience. They easily accommodated the rehearsal dinner at the Inn as well as catering to our...

We were here with a wedding party that took up the whole place. I cannot describe how complete and anticipatory the hospitality and service was at the Inn. We had several big group meals there, and the food was excellent and situation appropriate. Even when we got a little crazy as the wedding was approaching, the staff was helpful and...

and you definitely feel like a king when staying there. The bed is comfortable, the room is well appointed, the bathroom is up to date and they really care about their guests. If I had to make one suggestion it would be to up their game at breakfast. There's a mad rush when everybody wants to eat at once and...
