My husband and I spent two quiet nights at the Old North Durham Inn recently (Room Three has a very comfortable bed), as part of a visit to family who live in the neighborhood. We didn't get to meet Jim -- but thoroughly enjoyed Debbie Vickers and her hospitality. Very laid back and welcoming. The room was super clean and...

My wife and I stayed here for just one night during our vacation this year as we headed north towards Richmond. We had picked the place because of the Trip Adviser reviews and are very glad we did. The house is, as somebody else noted, on an intersection but we found the traffic noise to be minimal even on a...

Jim and Debbie are well-educated, intelligent, and interesting people. They were great hosts and they made a fantastic breakfast every morning. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Their B&B is about a mile from Duke's East Campus. If you are a runner, run up W. Trinity and then on the walkway that surrounds the campus.

We came down for a quick two nights in the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill area and were surprised at how limited the Bed & Breakfast options appeared to be - but the truth is you don't need any more! Our stay was fabulous - the room was pristine, the location perfect (really an easy walk to downtown Durham), and the hosts as...

Everything about this b&b including the other guests were wonderful. It is a beautiful historic home with hosts that care about their home and the guests. The delicious breakfast was a full course meal.

The room was large -- but the inn is on a busy street corner so we definitely heard traffic. And our bed was much, much, much too soft. The breakfasts were indeed very good. However, Jim and Deb were a little too friendly. We've never stayed at a B&B where the owner(s) hung around and wanted to chat during breakfast,...

After all the years I have spent and lived in Durham, to find this gem of a B & B - right in town - was a pure delight. Traveling on business, I spent two (only two!) nights with Jim and Deb and their lovely restored home, built in the early 1920's. My room was very inviting and tastefully decorated,...

If you are in Durham, you must stay at Old Durham Inn. The owners Jim and Debbie are lovely; the amenities are great. The bedrooms are comfortable. We stayed in the Lavender Room which was so comfortable and filled with light. But the best part are the breakfasts. One of my favorite meals of our four-day road trip! Within walking...

Looks like there's a new sheriff in town. If you are going to stay in Durham you must stay here. Not only are your hosts Jim and Debbie charming but so is the grand ol' house. What character it has. They don't miss anything. Every touch is there for you to feel like your at home. Best part is breakfast....
