Really impressed with the accommodation. Good sized lounge, well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed and lovely bathroom with underfloor heating. Spotlessly clean too. There was coal supplied to light a fire in the evenings. A beautiful setting in a quiet location. Anthony, the host was very helpful and attentive.

I took my son on a single parent Christmas weekend through Single With Kids last weekend and it was held here at Hargate Hall. The Hall is amazing as it's split into lots of apartments all of which have their own private lounge and kitchen. We shared our apartment with two other families with kids of similar ages and it...

With my daughter and twin grandsons we have had a 2 night break to celebrate my birthday. What a fabulous location. We had a lovely 3 bed apartment with a big sitting room/kitchen that was really cosy. Electric heating (coin meter) and an open log fire that was brilliant and warmed the whole apartment. Although there were several others staying...

We stayed in a great apartment in this stunning old building. The grand hall entrance is amazing and the house is divided up into simple apartments, which were basically really good (apart from a dodgy mattress). The only thing to let it down was the spaces immediately outside, which were ramshackle. There were broken fence panels, piles of stone and...

We had a great stay in this character filled 1899 grand hall. Anthony left clear instructions of how to access the apartment. The apartment was welcoming, cosy, spotless clean, lovely linen, comfortable bed, TV, DVD, very well equipped kitchen with everything needed including tea towels, dishcloth, washing up liquid etc. The apartment is the price of a cheap value hotel...

We went here for a wedding, see Sharron's review below. Each apartment was well appointed and comfortable with a modern feel in an older manor house. The whole building and grounds suited the event. A large Marquee in the grounds was the wedding breakfast location, outside caterers doing a pig roast etc., the hall inside the main building being the...

We held our son's wedding her last weekend (6th August 2016) and we opted for the exclusive use. It was absolutely brilliant. The apartments meant that we could come and go as we pleased, nip off for a rest or a cuppa at any time, and we also got to decorate the marquee and the wedding area to our own...

Warm welcome from owner to start with followed by a lovely well equipped self catering apartment. The building is beautiful and the gardens are very well maintained. A delightful find. If you like self catering and doing things at your leisure with great surroundings you will be in heaven.
