We have stayed at other B&B's but Captian's Quarters is far better they provide a chef quality breakfast and clean quiet atmosphere and also where to go locally. We plan to stay again and take Don's BBQ class. Just outstanding we were very pleased. James

Husband, sister and brother-in-law and I went to attend Rib University that we had purchased on Living Social. this is a very nice Bed and Breakfast and Don and Diane really make you feel at home. We tasted the sauces on Wednesday evening and then went to dinner at House 51 and had a nice dinner. Did the class Thursday...

We arrived on Friday at approximately 3:00, and we were so pleased to be greeting by Diane with lemonade and homemade cookies. Offering wine for sale by the glass was a nice touch and very convenient, as we sat downstairs with Diane and chatted over a glass of wine. We stayed in the Cutty Sark Room, and it was spacious,...

This is the second consecutive summer that we've spent three days in Edenton and stayed at the Captain's Quarters Inn. The hotel is conveniently located near the waterfront and downtown area, and it has a quaint charm that matches the town's friendly appeal. Don and Diane Pariseau provide outstanding service, including fresh-cooked, hot breakfasts and friendly conversation each morning. What...

We saw this inn listed on groupon or similar and just had to check it out. They do "Rib University"... the first full day there you see the smoker set up and learn about different rubs and wet bases. You pick a few to try and get your rack of ribs ready to smoke. Then they do all the rest...

The room was very nice, the bed was super comfy. The town is small and everything closes really early, not much to do but that was okay with me. The maid staff was very friendly and the room was clean and tidy.I found Don, the owner to be a bit on the rude side to some of the other guests...

Loved every minute. Very friendly and comfortable atmosphere. Clean and accommodating. Enjoyed the hospitality and the BBQ cooking class. Learned a lot about BBQ - rubs, preparing, and cooking it. Will definitely go back. Joe and Donna Minson.

We really enjoyed our visit to the Captain's Quarters Inn. We were fortunate enough to get to take the BBQ University class on smoking ribs. Not only did we learn a lot but we also got to eat some wonderful ribs. Our breakfasts were GREAT. The room was spotless and the bed very comfortable.

Attracted by the BBQ part I thought this would be a nice getaway for my wife and I. I am usually not a big fan of B&B's as most are more for a woman's taste rather than men. This place is just as amazing as any place you could imagine. The rooms are all set with different nautical themes and...
