The Culpepper Inn is an awesome place to hold a meeting or party. The service was exceptional and the food was wonderful. I particularly enjoyed the little touches that made my event successful. I highly recommend TCI and will be back in just a few weeks. Thank you doesn't seem like enough, but thank you.

2nd visit in a month, this one was a surprise visit for a special birthday. The caretakers of the inn went above and beyond our expectations. We will schedule many of our special events here and they have many beautiful rooms to choose from. We chose the Carriage House which is very cozy and beautifully furnished. Thank you so much!!!!... Found this historic B&B in Elizabeth City, NC. The place was gorgeous, the family/staff very accommodating and knowledgeable of the area, food delicious, and had a pool (towels provided)! Everything was very clean. We got a reservation at the last minute and although our "gold" room was considered a "standard", it was wonderful and reasonable. All rooms had private bathrooms... More

I called around 5pm to find out if there was a room available for 2 nights. I received a warm response and was able to go and check in 30 minutes later. The tour of the inn was absolutely beautiful, and I felt very welcome. The grounds are gorgeous and so calming. I was in town for business, and this... More

My son gave us a gift certificate for a one night stay at the Culpepper Inn Bed and Breakfast. They stayed last May and loved it so they felt we would enjoy it as well. We did. We were treated like royalty from the moment we arrived. The property is beautiful and located close to the waterfront so you can... More

Found this place in internet the day before but did not make a reservation as they seemed to have many rooms available for next night. So, we just ringed their door bell next day and experienced overwhelming welcome from the owners. Lot's of background info about the house and absolutely fantastic hospitality. We were shown the premises which are fabulous... More

The grounds and the main house are absolutely beautiful! There are many sitting and gathering areas on the grounds, as well as a pool and hammock to nap in. It is a short walk to the waterfront. The bedrooms are beautiful and the bed was so comfortable I did not want to get up, but when I did I was... More

We rented out the entire property for the weekend for our daughter's wedding. All of our family came from out of town and most of them stayed at Culpepper Inn for the weekend. We also held the rehearsal dinner and reception at Culpepper Inn. Everything was beautiful and exceeded expectations. We highly recommend Culpepper Inn for your event.

Trip was in conjunction with a funeral. So, it wasn't a pleasure trip. But, the Culpepper Inn provided a pleasant diversion to the solemn activities. It was well maintained and within walking distance to the center of Elizabeth City. The breakfast was delicious and the price was reasonable. I hope to return under more pleasant circumstances.
