If you enjoy the English influence, you need to vist June and Alvan at The Tudor House. Wonderful hosts! The B&B is very nice...situated on 4 wooded acres in the midst of the town. Hard to believe you can escape until you make the drive up their gravel driveway for about 100 yards to the house. Antiques dominate the decor...

We spent three nights with Alvan and June while visiting Asheville, NC. The house was clean and comfortable and quite reasonably priced. The room we stayed in was relatively small, but certainly adequate. The owners are friendly and pleasant, and the breakfast was hearty! If you are seeing both Hendersonville and Asheville, this is a great location. If you're looking...

The owners are really welcoming and pleasant. We stayed in the Garden Room, and the room was very clean, the bathtub is great, and the fireplace makes the room very cozy. We were served a lovely breakfast, and the owners are very accommodating. I loved the fresh flowers in our room, it was a nice detail. It is a little...

While searching for accomodations on the Web for our motorcycle trip to Norh Carolina we came across the Tudor House Bead & Breakfast. It sounded different and inviting so we made our reservation. We could not have been more satisfied with the B&B and Alvan and June, the wonderful English couple who run it. It was quaint, very relaxing and...

My sister wanted to find a bed and breakfast in Asheville, NC to accomodate thirteen relatives. She was planning a surprise 40th birthday party for her husband, and she needed to find lodging for thirteen people. We both called several bed and breakfasts, lodges, and resorts in the Asheville area, but we couldn't find a place to accomodate us. Perhaps...

The grounds were beautiful. That is the only positive comment I can honestly say. We stayed in The Garden Room which was the priciest of their rooms. The room was small and musty, and there was no internet access (even though it was advertised in their brochure). The breakfast was sorely disappointing - I was never asked about my dietary...

Although we arrived quite late, we were greeted hospitably by the owner who offered a drink after showing us our room. The house is a sprawling ranch style home with a large living room, beautiful dining room and pleasant enclosed porch. The dining room walls were extraordinarily refurbished by the owners from trees on the property destroyed in a hurricane....

Do not accept the Floral Room unless you like confined spaces. This room is less than half the size in the sample picture and has insufficient room for a suitcase. We were disappointed that the jacuzzi was smaller than a standard bathtub, was located in a nook one foot away from the bed, and the jets did not work. Clean...

I recently attended a conference that was being held at the Biltmore Inn and I refuse to pay Biltmore prices for a hotel--so I searched for something else and found the Tudor House Bed and Breakfast. The Tudor House is located in Fletcher, NC, about 5 miles from the Asheville airport. The entrance to the Tudor House is through a...

“The stairway up to the Garden Room is steep and narrow - if you have hip or back problems, or lots of luggage one of the rooms on the main floor might work better for you. For me, the fact that you access the Garden Room stairway via a secret panel made my visit more adventurous and memorable. I plan to request this room my next stay :)”
