The Sound is beautiful there. We sat and watched Wind and Kite Surfers. You can walk out in the calm warm waters and relax. We were disappointed that the pool was not open yet. It was right after we left. Staff members are very nice.

Our camper was about 10 feet from the water. You CAN bike to the beach but you would would have to lock it up to go on the beach. I don't remember seeing a rack but then again I wasn't looking for one. Resturants are... More

Yes, you need to bring a fire pit. It needs to be off the ground and have sides. Fresh seafood can be purchased within 5 miles of the campground.
