What a lovely place to stay right off the Parkway! Jim and Margaret made us feel like old friends who had invited us to the mountains for the weekend. They greeted us with chocolate chip cookies and lemonade, and gave us a spot-on restaurant recommendation for dinner that evening. I cannot rave enough about the quality of the accommodations and...

Booked a quick visit to the Blue Ridge Mountains this weekend and hubby found this great little B&B in NC for a night. We were in the Shenandoah Room and it was a wonderful nights rest. Large private bathroom with a shower and jacuzzi tub. The owners Jim and Margaret were the perfect hosts with lemonade and warm cookies when...

This is by far the BEST B&B I've stayed in. We just returned from our second visit to Glade Valley B&B and were not disappointed. We were on a morotcycle trip in Kentucky (we're from Denver CO) and decided the ride to Glade Valley to stay at the B&B was worth the trip. We arrived to a warm welcome from...

A perfect place to stay while traveling the Blue Ridge Parkway. It is obvious the pride they take in caring for this place as well as their guests. Hope to...

We were in the Mesa Verde room in August for a pleasure trip--we are retirees-- but any of the rooms would have done just as well. All spotlessly clean with great attention to detail. Breakfast awesome especially made from scratch baked goods each morning. Enough to fill you up till dinnertime. Hosts couldn't have been more welcoming. Secluded and restful....

Another trip to camp cheerio and another great stay at glade valley. Jim and Margaret are the most welcoming hosts. If you are doing the pick up or drop off for cheerio make sure you stay another day to experience the blur ridge mountains and stay at glade valley. By far the nicest accommodations for miles around. Looking forward to...

We just returned from a lovely weekend at the Glade Valley Inn, where we stayed in the comfy Smoky Mountain Cabin. The cabin is secluded from the main residence, which was nice for my husband and I seeking a private refuge in the mountains. We had the opportunity to socialize in the main house if we wished, or just hang...

The cabin my husband chose at Glade Valley for our overnight getaway is very cute and very private, but just so everyone knows, it does not have air conditioning. Which is great if you are camping in the woods but not so great if you payed over $200 for one night in a very, very tiny cabin. I am sure...

We try to make all our guests feel at home and welcomed, but at times circumstances are beyond our control, and this was a case where that was evident before she ever saw the cabin. This reservation was made by the husband as a secret surprise for his wife. Normally, we would not rent the cabin for just one night,...
