My spouse and I stayed at The Inn this past weekend. What a gem! You'll be treated to a 6-course gourmet breakfast each morning, comfortable rooms exquisitely decorated, and warm, friendly people. It's obvious that retired White House Chef Marti loves people, cooking, and history (not necessarily in that order). Marti is full of fascinating stories about the history of...

This is by far the best accommodations in America. You will not find a more hospitable staff of professionals who enjoy sharing their knowledge of food and history. Don't miss out on a great visit to the Inn run by real American Patriots!

What a great find in a small town of Grover, NC but close to many things. The small town of Shelby is fantastic and the two winery's were perfect. Love the historic downtown with a fantastic pizza place and excellent upscale restaurant (Ni Fen). Can't wait to go back. We also did cooking classes which were so fun and educational.

Having a fabulous time at this centuries old B & B , The Inn of the Patriots, in Grover, NC!! Owned and operated by a Former White House Chef, Chef Marti, and his wife, Stormy, also a chef, we attended a cooking class given by Chef Marti yesterday! Had such a fun time, made pasta from scratch, and worked on...

We chose to celebrate our anniversary here at the Inn. This hide away is perfect in every sense of the word. This was actually our second time here, and upon arrival to our room, we were treated with a VIP bottle of wine. What a nice surprise! We stayed in the Colonel room, which was amazing. The king size bed...

We began our weekend as Hermine skirted by Grover. The cool weather, light breeze, and soft drizzle set the perfect mood for rocking on the porch. Marti and Stormy read my mind and preset the stage with a lap blanket on every chair and very affordable local wine in the gift shop and kitchen! Hubby and I wound down watching...

From the moment we stepped into the inn we correctly surmised this was going to be a good experience. The ambiance and the owners, Marti and Stormy, were friendly and welcoming. We were given The Baby Ruth Room, named for Cleveland's daughter. This room had no bathroom per se, however the owners had cleverly made one closet a shower and...

As anyone that reads my reviews knows, I don't give many excellent reviews, but "The Inn of the Patriots" certainly deserves one. We booked one night there to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary yesterday (9/5). We also booked the cooking class. The inn is run by Marti Mongiello and his wife, both disabled veterans. Marti is a former white house...

We found a treasure! What a welcoming and comfortable B&B, with the added bonuses of much history and fabulous breakfast. Thanks to Laura for her great cooking, hospitality and taking care of us. We felt at home as soon as we arrived. Our room was beautiful and bed comfortable. Thanks to Marti for this special place, for the tour, and...

This was such a beautiful place, full of so many historical emblematics and lovely decorated rooms. Marti, Stormy were very hospitable and Kim was so helpful to everyone. The breakfast was great as was the tour afterwards. I wish we could have stayed longer.
