This is a very nicely appointed option between high-end lodging and something more like boys summer camp which you frequently find at some inns in the mountains. Great service, large rooms, ample breakfast.

We stayed 4 nights at the Park on Main for our first visit to the Highlands area. From check in to check out everything was first class and with no issues. The room price was reasonable. We are dog owners but did not bring our dog on the trip; travelers without dogs should not be concerned at all about the...

Take your own bedding or be sure you have what you need before the front desk rolls over to voicemail. We planned a nice weekend getaway to Highland's for Mother's Day weekend. We paid $433 for one night in a King Suite at The Park on Main, which is a very dog friendly hotel. My husband and I took my...

This place is immaculate, even with being so dog friendly. The king size bed was so comfortable. The walk in shower was big enough for two (if you want to save on water..lol) Large wall screen TV's, separate living room with sofa, chair, coffee maker, wine glasses. They even had a nice dog bowl and dog bed for our dogs....

We come to Highlands, NC every once in a while as it is a convenient getaway from greater northeast Atlanta. First time we have stayed at The Park on Main, however. Extremely pet friendly. Excellent staff and superb accommodations. Great indoor parking garage beneath the facility. Breakfast is a bit skimpy, but considering everything else, this is minor.

We are world class travelers and have stayed at the Old Edwards Inn several times. Let me say, we were VERY impressed with this hotel! HUGE suites and large modern bathrooms. Clean, stylish, hip, walk to everything! Don't hesitate - GO!!!

Visited here with three girlfriends and we all shared one two room delightful suite. The beds were very large and comfy. The bathroom was clean and spacious with a large walk in shower and double sink vanity unit. It's ideally located within the town to walk around and visit the shops. It's all dog and wildlife themed which is a...

We live in Atlanta and were looking for a last-minute, nearby weekend getaway that was a) teeming with spring blooms b) a quick and easy drive from ATL and c) accommodating of two people and two large dogs. We found that - in spades! - at the Park on Main Hotel. I expected dog tolerance but underestimated the level the...

I cannot speak more highly of the Park on Main. It was our first trip traveling with our two pups (and two teenagers!), and everyone loved this place. The hotel is charming, beautifully decorated and welcoming. It is apparent from the minute you pull up that it is a great place for dogs (and dog lovers). The room was spacious...

My husband was doing work nearby and we found this great hotel for our Diva Dachsund and us! It can't be beat. I don't know why, but some pet-friendly hotels are assigning poorly kept rooms for pets, but THIS place is top-notch. We had a huge suite with comfy king and especially nice linens. Beautiful, big tiled shower with heated...
