Decided to visit Highlands for two nights and looked at a lot of places to stay. This hotel was fabulous in every way. Most of the rooms are suites with a bedroom, bathroom and living area. It rained one day so much, we were especially happy with the underground heated

Is there a weight limit for your pet?
It did not appear that there was as there were several Labs and Goldens there during our visit.

Barbara, The Park on Main Hotel does have pet-free rooms, as well. We do take extra care in the cleaning of each room, too. The pictures in hotel are prints of paintings. The artist is from south Florida and he does do portraits from photos. David E Jones General Manager

Do you have an outdoor pool
There is no outdoor pool. The weather this past weekend (July) was 64-68 degrees during the day so I wouldn't say it was swimming weather anyway. There is a lovely courtyard at Park on Main with fountains, etc. The Highlands Civic Center on 4th street has a pool that anyone can use (they charge just a few dollars for non residents). I believe they just installed a retractable roof, but you may want to call them before heading over.

Are there rooms that have never had a pet reside overnight?
not sure, but all the accommodations are immaculate-brand new, high quality; when we were there we did see several other travelers without pets

there is a parking garage underneath the hotel and an elevator that takes you from the Parking garage to the main floor (check in) and upper floors. no worries about steps. There are also a few HC parking spots if needed.
