In town for a family wedding and were very pleased with our stay. The breakfasts were DELICIOUS and the surprise muffins-of-the-day for afternoon snacks were always sought after. Donna and Chris were the consumate hosts and very supportive in providing guidance and background regarding the area. The facility's setting is also so relaxing with diverse species of birds and chipmunks...

My husband surprised me with a birthday weekend getaway at the Colonial Pines Inn B&B. Having two small children and expecting a third, feeling relaxed and pampered is a rarity most days. Donna and Chris have created such a warm and inviting place that I was instantly at ease the moment I walked in the door and greeted by Donna....

Donna and Chris are marvelous hosts. Not only is their B & B incredibly clean, very tastefully decorated in the theme of the area, and perfectly located on a quiet street near town, the food is fabulous. Donna is quite the breakfast baker and cook; no one will leave hungry. They are friendly and interesting hosts as they know the...

My husband and I recently spent a couple of nights at Colonial Pines Inn B&B. We did not stay in the main house, but chose The Bargain Basement. We loved the convenience of this room - it is in a separate building, very close to the main house, with no stairs to climb and parking very close to the entrance....

I've been coming to Highlands for many years. I'm so sorry I didn't discover this gem sooner. Gracious hosts, classic mountain ambiance and a perfect locale. Rooms are well appointed, super clean, and each has its own flair. Breakfasts cannot be beat. Allow Donna and Chris to make you feel so welcome. I will be back.

We were thrilled to find our first choice of a Highlands B&B to be the best! What a lovely home, grounds, and place to visit. I don't think the online photos do justice - the attention to detail at this B&B makes it stand out over others. The innkeepers, Donna and Chris, are very nice and make you feel at...

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at this B&B this year. Everything about it was perfect..beautiful setting, charming and comfortable room, beautifully decorated down to every detail, delicious food and the most gracious hosts you can imagine. Donna loaned me a jacket for the weekend when she noticed my light sweater wouldn't be warm enough for the cool weather....
