The pictures on the site must have been taken when this first opened up. The hotel is in terrible shape. Rust in the tub, on the lamps, and tables. We couldn’t even stay one night. Checked out less than 10 minutes after checking in. Had to rate one in order to submit review.
Loose fixtures, stains, shower drains full of hair, feces, and blood. I complained to the desk agent, Claudxx, who was rude, argumentative, and who refused apologize for the horrible condition of the shower, or to do ANYTHING to address my concerns, including coming to inspect the room, or even put me in touch with the manager on duty (who wasn’t even there), switch rooms, NOTHING. I’ve never, EVER spoken to by ANYONE in the service industry, of which I’m one, with such contempt or disregard. Avoid at all costs.
As a choice rewards diamond, I’ll have to say this was one of the worst choice hotels I’ve stayed at. And I am not terribly picky about hotels. No one wore a mask. Not the front desk, not the housekeeping staff and not even other guests. I find it hard to believe that they are concerned with Covid 19 precautions. The floor in the room was filthy, the room was dingy, the door to the balcony barely stayed closed. We couldn’t sit on the balcony at night because the smell of pot coming from below us was unbearable. Then at 1130 pm the phone rang (however the phone was broken so they then called my cell phone) saying there was a complaint that we were making too much noise. There was no noise coming from our room. So we went down to front desk (again, clerk not wearing a mask) and she said “oh, it wasn’t your room so we removed the complaint from your record”. Excuse me? It was going in to my record?? I would say stay here if you want a cheap motel, however, it’s not cheap.…
My family and I stayed here last year and it’s nothing like I remembered. This hotel was so nasty I honestly didn’t even want to stay but didn’t have much of an option. First thing I would like to point out is that there is a note stating everyone must wear a mask who enters (thanks Covid) and while I could care less if you agree/don’t agree with the whole mask thing....how is the person working for the company, checking people in in NOT WEARING A MASK but I am “required” to? If she has a health condition...fine, but how can you enforce a rule when your employee is clearly not doing it herself? Anyways...while that’s annoying, that’s the least of my concerns. We go into our first room and their is literally food inside the air conditioner unit that is growing mold. My 4 year old pointed it out as soon as we walked in so how did cleaning staff not see this? We are in a pandemic where “sanitation is priority” but you don’t see this moldy food in A/C unit? Hmm. Ok. So we request a room change. Second room is just as bad, if not worse. The unit was moldy, didn’t work right. The air filter had mold growing on it. The handle in the shower kept falling off. The floors made our feet black within 5 min of walking around with shoes off. To be honest, the only thing that looked ok was the bed. And I’m hoping it was clean but I still sprayed Lysol all over it based on how nasty the rest of the place appeared. If I hadn’t already sanitized the whole room and unpacked, I would have complained again but we decided to just fill our lungs with mold for 2 nights and NEVER AGAIN visit this hotel. I honestly think the first time we stayed here we just got lucky or were oblivious to how gross it was but we learned a lesson this trip. You certainly get what you pay for here. It’s cheaper but it’s not clean. So if you are any type of germaphobe or just like clean stuff, look elsewhere!…
The room is not ocean front, the room was and the facility was filthy, we had to request towels and soap, masks required was posted yet it was not enforced. There was a fridge/freezer and microwave in room. I would not return.
