First let me warn you, if stairs are a problem, then you won't be happy with this place. There are no rooms on the first floor. We were on the 3rd floor which gave me some difficulties because of my asthma. We faced the main highway but didn't notice traffic noise. Breakfast was good. Mostly pastries and cereals. Easy walk...

Thank you for your honest feedback. I apologize for any inconvenience that you have encountered during your stay at our hotel. We do have rooms on the first floor but are very limited. We do our very best to grant request on room assignments depending on availability. We do hope you visit the Outer Banks again.

The Outer Banks Inn is on a fairly busy portion of the main highway, close to the Bird Store, CVS, Walgreens, Duck Donuts, Fuji Japanese Steakhouse, Five Guys, and a surf shop. It's two short blocks to the Clark Street beach access, with an improbable gazebo and showers. The street pavement is too gravelly for my bare feet, and it...

Unfortunately we were put in room 214 which is right by the door that leads outside. Everytime somebody came in or out it sounded like people were coming directly thru our door into our room. It was almost impossible to drown this sound out and I resorted to using the white noise app on my phone to help distract us....

We strive hard to improve our services and we will do our best to find a way to eliminate noise from the secured back door. I also apologize about the TV, unfortunately last weekend, the entire beach had a cable...

Our 1st night was a bunch of drunks hanging out on the third floor stairwell, and the front desk was spoken and no action was taken and they were there still the next night. On the day we were leaving, the front desk help was not at the hotel until after 7am when is which the lobby was to be...

We booked the hotel late and the staff were kind enough to give a call before hand informing us that they leave by 9 pm. They made sure we had all the information needed to get to our room at 2am. Helped us in selecting places to visit around kill devil. I would say it was a very comfortable stay

From the moment we walked in the Outer Banks Inn we were greeted by the friendly front desk staff. Cia had just placed warm chocolate chip cookies out in the lobby and they were so good. Stayed here overnight on our way to Myrtle Beach. Very convenient location for Kitty Hawk and Nags Head attractions--especially Wright Brothers National Monument. Pros: quiet room (off season), access to myriads of restaurants in the area, free wifi (decent in room), business center with internet access and printer. Cons: outdated facility (maintained well), minimal continental breakfast (even the plates and...

Awesome place for the price we paid on Hotwire. I'd recommend going in the off season as I can imagine this place would be noisy in the summer. Great location to Nags head attractions. The room was ok, older hotel and could use some renovations.

I certainly appreciate your feedback. Some changes we have made and are making prior to season is replacing the lighting with LED recess lighting and painting with brighter colors. Each off season the owner invests in improving the property and we always appreciate feedback and ideas. We hope you visit again soon.

We were on our way from PA to FLA in Feb (who isn't?) and took a detour to the Outer Banks to check out vacation rentals for next year.
