From the first call to final checkout we were very pleased with our stay at Sand Dunes. The management was awesome to deal with even with my small special request concerning my wife's foot problem , the location was perfect , close to the pier and awesome restaurants; the room was more than adequate, clean and newly painted , the...

you can plan a week's vacation and do something most every day. There's a great aquarium 5 minutes away as well as a civil war bunker. You can take a short drive to check out a world war II battleship. You can spend a day at the Wilmington waterfront shopping. There's plenty of deep sea fishing charters at Carolina Beach....

I was extremely impressed with the Sand Dunes motel during my weekend stay in Kure Beach. I prices are extremely reasonable, especially with units that come with a full kitchen and a great ocean view. I would recommend the Sand Dunes to my grandparents and worst enemies.

Nice motel. Location is great rooms are comfortable. Close to pier ... Have stayed there three times now. I would recommend it to anyone. It has become a regular part of vacation. Just made reservations for this year. Nothing like Kure Beach.

Stayed here the week they opened for the season. Our room was on the third floor, which was a walkup, but it made for a quiet stay! Lovely view of the sunrise and the pier off our oceanfront balcony. The room had all the kitchenette amenities one would expect, and plenty of room. The room was very clean, and welcoming,...

This is a motel not a resort, so the accommodations are decent (not luxury). We had 2 adults and 4 children fit comfortably in our room. I loved the location - we walked out our back door and took 20 steps to the beach! The kids enjoyed the pool too. It was a short walk (block or 2) to restaurants....

We rented the 2 bedroom apartment closest to the main road. It was a little noisy but the air conditioners drowned out most of it. The room was comfortable and perfect for our small family. The beds are very firm, but we slept fine. Only complaint was I wanted to take a hot bath for sore muscles and the shower...

First of all - if you're looking for a quiet beach escape - Kure Beach is it. The location of the Sand Dunes is PERFECT! I believe its the last hotel before privately owned homes. Never had any trouble finding a spot on the beach. The pool was nice. I gave this property a 3 for two reasons. First reason...

This is a typical beach motel. Nothing fancy but suited our needs. The front desk receptionist was warm and friendly, made us feel right at home. Our room was ready very early and we were welcomed right away. The room was oceanfront with two queen beds and a full kitchen! The bathroom was spacious as well. It almost felt like...
