This spot is such a lovely place to get away for a few days. The staff are really extraordinary: friendly, helpful and cheerful. The location on the lake is easy to get to but still secluded. We found the porch with the canopy above such a nice place to enjoy the afternoon wine and cheese. We will certainly be back.

This is a great place to stay. Quiet, clean and folks very helpful. Night was cold so we appreciated the gas fireplace. Room AC is difficult to turn off for quiet sleep but staff helped do it. Great view of lake. Only difficulty is that dinner service is limited and not available the night we were there. If we had...

We stopped in last night to have a drink. We were staying at a local resort we were staying at a local resort nearby. We had no idea what to expect, but only have heard good things. It was pouring rain when we arrived and the sun was just setting. We were greeted warmly and given a tour of the...

i wrote a lengthy letter to the management about why I thought the prices they charged for this property is way out of line for what you receive. I've yet to hear back. We stayed there to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. We were there from 4/25 to 4/27. We chose a "Premier Room" at the rate of $294 per...

We stayed in our favorite room,"Golden Pond" (now known as #8 for some reason) on Wednesday April 26 as we were heading to TN for business trip. We have come to the lodge many times after discovering this beautiful and peaceful place and it became our "go to place" to escape for R & R. We were very disappointed this...

My husband and I stayed at the Lake Lure Lodge for our anniversary! The room was lovely with a private balcony for sipping coffee that was available throughout the day along with some yummy pastries and snacks. It had a king size bed and gas fireplace. The bathroom had a shower and a claw foot tub with nice bath salts...

I would go back again! The rooms are wonderful here with big beds and tubs! The view from the tub was amazing. The grounds are nice too. There is so much more they could be doing with this spot. I mean they have a beautiful outdoor deck area but there is no bar or food out there. They need to...

My experience at The Lodge on Lake Lure came by way of being a firefighter on deployment to assist with containing the fire at Party Rock. A large group of us was welcomed to stay a handful of nights in a generous show of kindness so we may still feel the comforts of home. While not all of us were...

My husband and I had the privilege of staying at the lodge for a long weekend recently and were delighted. The Lodge is beautiful and the setting ideal, right on the lake. My husband took out a canoe and had a great time. Happy hour with a glass of wine and appetizers were lovely at the end of the afternoon...
