Spent a week here with family. A truly out of the way location but close enough to everything you'd want to do in the area. The views are spectacular. The rooms could probably do with an update, but overall, it's a great resort.
We enjoyed our stay overall. We were disappointed not to be on the resort grounds. It was very inconvenient to pack everything up and drive the mile to get to the amenities. The people at the front desk were friendly and tried to help, but did not have the authority to change…
The only problem was that our particular unit was very dark. You may want to ask about the unit when you make your reservation. Although we spent a lot of time out of the unit, it did not really matter, but kind of disappointing to have to have the lights on while it is bright…
The weather was perfect! Be aware that you will need to get into your car and drive about 2 miles in order to access the resort. The resort offered paddle boarding lessons, pontoon boats, swimming pools, the lake and a spa at the wellness center.
Stayed for a few days r&r on our way to DC. Quiet, clean, peaceful resort. Area is great if you like golf, lakes or hiking. Liked unit although the layout seemed odd. Very satisfied with unit. Altjo upstairs neighbors had noisy kids. Beautiful area. Great as a getaway
"All the rooms are good. On-line registration does a good job."
"Not good in bad weather. In april they had a snow storm and schools were closed"
"Make sure it is Wyndham managed, hopefully they are better managed!"
"This review is for Fairways on the Mountain only, many different sections to resort"
"Maple Ridge has king size beds if that matters to you. Not all other sections do."
