This property met my criteria. Clean, quiet and safe. The location is great just off the Blue Ridge Parkway and if you have a balcony room- the view is wonderful. You share it with everyone else whose room opens onto the balcony, but wonderful just the same. (didn't appear to be good viewing windows in any of the rooms) The...

Traveled with a small group of sports car enthusiasts and stayed at Skyline at the end the first day of our weekend tour. Everything was at least "good" here but the best things abut this place are the ambiance, the views, and the gracious hospitality of the owners. All three are equally valuable in my book and all three made...

A little rustic but super friendly and attentive service in a great location with great views at good value! We enjoyed home cooked meals and good brew...what else do you need? Right next to some fabulous riding roads.

I was prepared for rustic, actually like rustic in fact, but the Skyline Village Inn wasn't so much rustic as disjointed. The owners are the nicest and kindest folks you'd ever want to meet, and my book that counts for more than anything, but in the interests of honesty and fair review, you can do better for the same money...

I stayed here on a quiet day in April, before the summer season started. Unfortunately the fog was so thick I couldn't see past the other side of the street. But, I liked it here. The room on the 3rd floor was nice, small, clean and comfy. I felt right at home. The hotel has lots of character, is rustic,...

I recently spent a night at this great place. The Inn is older and has lots of character, so do not expect the blandness of corporate hotels. The wood floors creek and moan as you go up and down the stairs, which I think is great. The owner is fantastic, making me feel right at home, almost like I was...

We stayed here for a night and we had a wonderful experience. It snowed the next morning (last snowfall for the year), and the snow cast a special glow upon the whole area. We waited until the snow melted before we headed out and I took some beautiful pictures of the area. The owners helped accommodate my mother who had...

Motorcycle Friendly! I have been going to the SkyLine Inn & Cavern Tavern for many years. We have taken our motorcycle Riding Club up every year for the past 5 years. It is a great place to stay. Mike the owner goes out of his way to provide an excellent experience. They have food, beer, wine and drinks on the...
