My son and I were riding the length of the the Blue Ridge Parkway on our motorcycles and needed a place to stay in Little Switzerland. The Alpine Inn was recommended by a shop keeper. We were SO pleasantly surprised by it rustic charm. Mountain valley views from every room. Friendly hosts. Clean rooms. Peace and quiet. We would return...

What an experience. My wife and I were so happy with our choice of staying here. What a welcoming staff, so very helpful and cheerful. Our visit was such a nice, relaxing time. Breakfast was wonderful, with Susan cooking and baking for us, and Ron tending to our desires. We've met new friends. The room was cozy and restful. Staying...

We've been coming here for 8 years. Views and setting are phenomenal and we have never met finer hosts than Ron and Susan. It's convenient to the Blue Ridge Parkway, which we took for great hikes in Linville Gorge and Mt. Mitchell/Mt. Craig. Alpine Inn is on our annual or more often trek.

We are a retired couple intent upon driving the length of the Blue Ridge Parkway in Springtime and enjoying selected major pleasures, among them the views and, for the Alpine Inn, the sunrise and the views. We were not disappointed. Our hosts, Susan and Ron, were welcoming and helpful. Our room offered fantastic views day and night; the room itself...

We appreciate you taking the time to write a wonderful review for us.! Thank You! We are sorry for your inconvenience with the Wi-Fi. We did just upgrade to a better system, and we are not always aware when it is not working. Once you told us, we reset it and it is working better than ever, thanks to you.

I truly can't say enough about this place. I am not a outdoorsy or camping kind of lady. But, I found this place on the Internet and my husband wanted to go to the Carolina Mountains for a hiking and out of the ordinary adventure. I am used to a Caribbean resort with waiters and margaritas and five stars. Well,...

Wonderful view. Ron and Susan will make you feel like you are at home. Very close to the Blue Ridge Parkway. This isn't a fancy hotel but it is very comfortable. Parking is limited but adequate. This is a great place for a family reunion or meeting up with a group of friends.

We came upon this place quite serendipitously and fell in love not only with the location, the view (words are insufficient here) and the Breakfast (perfect). It's the owners - Sue & Ron however that make this location great! They are simply wonderful and the best reason to visit!

From booking to the overall stay, Susan and Ron were fantastic hosts. Very helpful with anything we needed. We stayed in one of the rooms with a private balcony, hands down the best mountain view in North Carolina! We got up both days to see the sunrise and it was stunning. Overall, our stay at the Alpine Inn was incredible....

We had evacuated Beaufort, SC because of hurricane Matthew. We stopped at two hotels near Ashville but they were gouging people with their prices. A hotel near Mt. Mitchell, which we knew from a past trip to the area, was full but told us about this place. We were lucky to get it as it filled up a few minutes...
