They have the most friendly staff members such as Whitney and Bryanna. Their Restaurant staff members such as Kate St Germain were there before you knew you were ready to order. Over all a place to visit atleast once!

We stopped at the inn for breakfast while traveling the parkway. It is an old stop, could use some refreshing, but the outdoors areas are beautiful. Breakfast was ok, but worth the stop,to enjoy the peaceful surroundings. My parents had stayed here years ago and still talk about how much they liked it.

The room was great: the kids felt like home, which was very important for us, the parents! We absolutely loved the scenery, the surroundings, the drive, and the hiking routes. We were able to do something different every day due to the very professional assistance of the Inn personnel. We enjoyed every moment here!

Bordering the Blue Ridge Parkway, this inn is the perfect place to stay for some good ol' rest and relaxation with breathtaking mountain views! We arrived on a Sat and stayed two nights. Our deluxe king room was on the second floor in the inn right at the top of the stairs from the lodge lobby, so very convenient to...

The approach road appropriately named "Diamondback" was a fun ride into the beautifully kept grounds of the Switzerland Inn. Check-in was smooth, and directions/map supplied by the Front Desk staff was pleasant. We each had a room in the "Diamondback Lodge, where there was covered parking for our bikes. The porch in front with rocking chairs was excellent for the...

My girlfriend and I had dinner here last night and it was excellent. We had the prime rib and seafood buffet and it was out of this world. The quality of the food was excellent. Great service and after dinner we recommend going down to the fire pit and sitting with a cocktail enjoying the evening air. You won't be...

Only reviewing the restaurant; did not stay in the Inn. Working my way up the Blue Ridge Parkway. Some friends recommended lunch at the Switzerland Inn. Have been traveling now since the middle of June; eating out a lot. The lunch that they served today was by far the worst of this trip. Ordered the NC fresh trout with vegetables....

For several months I’d been planning to visit the annual North Carolina Gem and Mineral Show in Spruce Pine. Shopping around on the internet, I found the Skyline Village Inn, where I reserved a room a couple months in advance. Big mistake. I showed up to discover the Inn SVI was closed (without notice)! Having enjoyed lunch at the Switzerland...

Switzerland Inn was lovely. The staff was so nice. A true bonus was the Episicapl Church that was on the grounds. WE arrived on a Saturday and thus the location of the Church was timely. The food was good but pricey. The little shops close to early. The room was adequate. WE moved to a higher priced room but t...
