Waiting for clerk to check in-she was outside talking to another couple. Didn't know that was her, she didn't acknowledge when I went into the lobby. Room good shape, in need of some TLC, the electrical outlets all need replaced-worn out won't hold anything plugged in. The morning clerk was gossiping on the telephone for quite a while and if... This is a small older motel, without an elevator. We paid extra to not face the road, and had the bonus of a porch with a rocker, overlooking a mt. stream. Our room was clean, the beds comfortable. Breakfast was acceptable, and did include fresh fruit.

Other than the "Heated Pool" not being heated, the Ramada was a very nice place to stay at a very affordable price! I'd suggest this place to anyone who plans to visit the area. The hustle & bustle isn't there, as it is in Cherokee. Maggie Valley is only a 20 minute drive to Cherokee, and the room rates were... More

This is the only place we stay when we come to Maggie Valley. The rooms are clean and the staff takes really good care of you. This hotel has just been remodeled plus it has an indoor pool and spa. Good places to eat all around it with a creek running behind it.

The room had a great view over looking a lovely creek. That is the best I can say. The shower curtain had several gashes and holes in the plastic part of it. I left my shampoo at home and thought "no big deal, I will use the amenities here" and without looking grabbed the two mini bottles off the counter.... More

The rooms are somewhat dated, but clean and the property is well managed. No problem when we arrived early for check-in and didn't come back again until after midnight.
