Friendly staff at check in. Room was clean, quite toward the back end and comfortable. Staff was very knowledgeable about the area for activities. Pool was nicely kept up. Breakfast buffet could use upgrading. But there are Lots of places to dine within walking distance

Rocky Waters Motel, we love it. This was our second stay here, the rooms are always clean well stocked and comfortable. Usualy we stay at a Hampton when we travel but if we are in the Cherokee area we stay at Rocky Waters. we like the classic travel lodge atmosphere. It is a great place to start a tour of...

This motel is very adequate, clean, and just off of the road across the creek. Quite, nice landscaping and has two picnic shelters with grills for you if you want ot use them. It is American owned and operated however, when we stayed there we noticed the place is up for sale. The motel dates probably back to the 1950's,...

We stay here annually...creekside room a must. There is a nice area beside the creekside rooms in which you can build a bonfire and sit by the creek and fire...very nice hosts...basic ammenities but very clean. Small refridgerators in some rooms.

We chose this motel in beautiful Maggie Valley because it sat so far off the road. When checking in we were asked if we wanted a creekside room. I said, "Sure, why not". We visited two yrs ago for a few day while we visited the reservation. We were just looking for a cheap clean place and we found a treasure. the staff was awesome, the rooms were clean the pool was so nice after a hot day of exploring the reservation. it also had a wonderful picnic/BBQ area in the back were...

What can I say about a motel where five generations of my family have stayed dating all the way back to 1946 when there were just four wooden cabins? There aren't enough superlatives, most of which can be summed up as "location, location, location." The motel is situated at the upper end of Maggie Valley where a small stream tumbles...

we are from tennessee and just happen to find this motel when we came to maggie valley to stay.we have stayed at this motel since 2004 everytime we come to maggie valley. the peple and service are absolutely wonderfull,plus next to a creek, burn campfire everynite,swim in the pool in the day. to my family is like heaven on earth....
