Very nice hotel minutes from Cataloochee slopes. Nice continental breakfast including waffles, muffins, bagels, fruit and more. Pool and spa were also very nice. Real value. Sleep quality lost a point because of noisy people upstairs.

Love this place. We've been back twice. They take our dog. Adequate breakfast with waffles and bagels. The staff is wonderful and accommodating. And you can't beat the indoor pool and whirlpool after skiing. Only miles from Cataloochee. Can't imagine anywhere around is better. We won't stay anywhere else when in the area.

Okay, when you are managing a trip on a budget, sometimes you just have to accept what you get. Yes, the place was clean, but it's probably one of the first Microtel's ever built. It's older, and jammed into a tight property. If I was 25 and ski slope hopping, it works for me. The Continental breakfast was barely that,... More

Close to ski resort road. Clean. Good rate. Queen suite good setup. Hot tub too hot. Fridge in room loud - hard to sleep.

Pleasantly surprised upon arrival. Had read other reviews and was really worried about what we were going to walk into. Hotel is in need of some repairs and updates, but overall good for our short stay. Beds were clean...even mattress pads...I checked. Shower was clean and great water pressure. Staff was helpful and friendly.

When I made this reservation I was told about a nice continental breakfast and a heated indoor pool. We wanted to go up for Valentine's weekend and knew it would be cold. The breakfast was made up of cereal, muffins, watered down OJ, and the one hot item was the waffle maker. (the line for it was outrageous) The pool... More

Location is great. Continental breakfast was nice, but on a busy weekend the room where the breakfast is served gets WAY too crowded. All of the staff I encountered at the hotel were very friendly and accommodating. Pool area was okay, but the chemicals are way too strong - my entire family has terribly itchy skin from about an hour... More

The staff was friendly and the suite was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good..cereals, muffins, sweet rolls, and they had a waffle baker. Four kinds of juice, coffee and tea were also available. We traveled with our dogs and there is ample area behind the motel to exercise them.

We came across the Microtel by just driving. The staff was very nice and the room is very clean, organized, and comfy with a good view. We enjoyed our stay. We liked the trail behind the hotel. It was nice that they also allowed pets to say.
