We chose the 1801 Room which is on the first floor and found it to be very comfortable and had a very pleasant stay at the end. We enjoyed talking to Francois about the history of the school and made us feel right at home for our stay. We had an outstanding breakfast and the chocolate chip scones were delicious....

We stayed in the 1801 room on the first floor. It is spacious and well appointed with carefully chosen antiques and accessories. The Inn is historic but the room has all the modern conveniences. Public spaces are decorated beautifully and appropriately. The Inn is surrounded with large shade trees and well trimmed lawns. Francois is a well mannered host. We...

Wife and I chose to stay in Rusty... Fantastic room, but not the most comfortable on hot summer nights. Unfortunately, the A/C wasn't able to keep up with with hottest weekend of the year. I suspect that under normal conditions the A/C would work fine and the room would be perfectly comfortable.

The property is well taken care of and beautiful in the spring. It truly forces you to slow down to country speed. We stayed in the 1801 room which has plenty of space and a beautiful, bright white bathroom with subway tile. Bath tub has digital touch pad for jets and a heated back. It was a perfect way to...

We stayed for two nights in Rusty's room as a get away while attending a local conference. Upon check in, we were told we would be departing too early for breakfast the next day (even though we were the only guests onsite). The room was quaint and the fireplace was nice, however there was only lukewarm water for the shower...

This Inn has a deep history that the owner will share. The Inn was completed over a number of years dating back to the late 18th century/early 1800's. The large grounds are peaceful to walk around. The rooms are all different - our wedding party had all four rooms and each one had its own character. Some rooms were built...

Our room, Rusty's Room. was historically decorated with great antiques and original exposed brick , hardwoods and a beautiful oval hook rug . The original fireplace is amazing. Very private room with enough modern conveniences to be comfortably perfect. As nice as the room was, the grounds were magnificent. Hammocks, quiet sitting areas and walking trails abound. Breakfast was very...

Just returned from taking our son to school (Elon University) this past weekend and had the pleasure of staying here. My visit (and 2 night stay) transformed a routine road trip into a delightful experience that felt more like a vacation than a trip "back to school". The inn owner(s) and hosts (Francoise & Christine) have created a gem... Christine's...

My husband and I stayed here during a road trip through NC. We wanted to explore the Chapel Hill area and this B&B, which is about 20 minutes or so outside of the city, was highly recommended. We really enjoy staying at bed and breakfasts and comparing experiences; the Inn at Bingham School was terrific and is truly one of...
