This is a nice little place that is located away from the crowded beaches to it's South. We found the price to be reasonable and the rooms fairly clean. Carpet and decor was a bit aged, but adequate. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

I typically stay oceanfront when available, but that was not the case with this last-minute trip we planned. We wound up renting 2 rooms at the Causeway Inn. Both were nice rooms, clean, and well-maintained. It was a short walk to the beach and there were several places to eat, shop, and play within walking distance from the hotel.

We stayed in room 210. Beautifully decorated room with a king size bed, 2 flat screen tvs, fridge and microwave. Very clean and modern. Bed is very comfortable. Staff was very nice and welcoming. Beach is within walking distance. Most definitely would stay here again.

Location is great, we walked everywhere! The room was good for a cheap place to stay for two nights with just a getaway with my husband. Not a place to stay if you are stuck in the room, rooms are small and old, internet is SLOW. No where to cook, the rules and restrictions are crazy, you have to clean...

If you're looking for comfort, convenience and value, this is a good place to stay. My room was clean and was equipped with a microwave, sink and mini-fridge. The bed was comfortable and the deck was perfect for outdoor reading. It's a block from the ocean and is a perfect location for biking and walking around the island. I plan...

My girlfriend and I wanted to go to the beach for the week without spending a small fortune on a hotel room. Having spent many summers up and down various Atlantic beaches, we were looking for a low key beach with warm water, decent restaurants and access to good golf and water sports. I stayed in Ocean Isle a couple...

We rented our unit from vrbo.com. They do have some nightly rentals too. It was in a great location, only about a block to the beach and between Pogies restaurant and an Ice Cream shop. The walk to the beach is easy and you don't have to pay for parking. The beach access is right next to the pier. Our...

What people say is right. Causeway Inn is a motel that has been renovated. Each unit is individually owned. They look like your typical hotel rooms. We stayed in C1216 named "Y's the Rum Gone". It was VERY clean and updated. Bed was comforable. Everything was in working order and exactly as described. The unit was exactly what I was...

I stayed here in mid-October, after the traditional season. The location is wonderful... From our unit, you could see the ocean. It's probably only a block from the hotel. There are also quite a few bars and restaurants in walking distance. The weather was a bit chilly, but we were able to walk everywhere. The booking process was easy and...

The Causeway Inn offers great value and location for the money. Our room was very clean and well equipped with dishes, a microwave, refrigerator, modern furnishings and flat screens mounted on the walls in both rooms (we stayed in unit #304). The Causeway is located just one street off the beach and is surrounded by shops and ice cream parlors,...

“If you have trouble going steps, ask for a room that is close to the elevator. Walk from elevator to far buildings is quite a hike.”

“Look for the rooms with two flatscreens mounted on the walls. These are generally the most up to date rooms. Third floor rooms eliminate the chance of overhead noise as third floor is the top floor.”
