Friendly staff, clean rooms, nice pool, cool area. Found it online while needing a place to crash on the way to myrtle beach. Can't beat the quality for the price. Will return if ever in the area again.

Affordable, clean rooms, good service. As a bonus they are dog friendly. We were in the area for a seminar and did not spend much time around the hotel, but have no complaints. They had entertainment in the lounge one night (which we missed). Otherwise the lounge was closed.

My husband and his lineman crew recently stayed here while working storm duty in Laurinburg. All larger chains of hotels in the area were booked. They had reserved rooms at The Pine Inn and were very pleased with this little find. He was just raving about the wonderful service during their stay that they received from Pauline who was running the entire place when his crew arrived extremely tired and worn out from working to restore power in the neighboring town. Pauline went above and beyond to make sure that all of the guys were comfortable in their rooms! The hotel was very clean and inviting but when the guys arrived the reservations were lost due to the lack of internet connection but she quickly accommodated the lineman with rooms. Pauline was obviously tired from the days activities and even offered to open up the already closed up grill to the guys to fix them a hot meal. She obviously wears a lot of "hats" at her place of employment and should be recognized for her hard work! Joey says hi and will be back next time we are in the area!

I was very iffy about staying here when I first made the reservation. I've stayed at Hilton hotels my entire life for all of my trips, but all I needed was a place for one night while on my way to Myrtle Beach. I am so glad I chose this place! My boyfriend and I were exhausted from driving, but the route in is very remote and peaceful. The hotel itself is beautiful and very welcoming, as are the staff that greeted us (at 1 a.m. in the morning too!). The room was clean and more than comfortable. I wish I could have stayed another few days.
