I was attending a conference at the Pinehurst Resort and they were sold out. I chose the Magnolia Inn because it was an easy walk to the Resort and I admired the look of it. I was hoping for a B&B kind of experience but it was not much like that. There is a very short window when you can...

We stayed in the Hale room. Skip this place! Strong ambient odor. No one to greet us at early check-in. The key to our door was in an envelope at the base of the stairs. We noticed a there was a note on the inside of the front door: "DO NOT lock front door when you leave for the evening....

My daughter was married at the Magnolia Inn on the patio followed by a reception and dinner in the Inn. Small wedding with about 40 guests. Everything went very well despite the 90+ heat and a small rain shower during the ceremony. Charlene, Dan and the entire staff did an excellent job. Food and service was outstanding. Several guests, and...

My husband and I went there last night July 7th basically to listen to Choo Choo Charlie play. We made reservations, and got there on time. We have had a very wet summer so far and the weather started to look like it could unleash a down pour again. Our hostess Brenda asked if we would like to wait in...

The place was deserted when we arrived, the keys to the room were left in an envelope at the bottom of the stairs. The room had see better times: the sink was peeling from the wall, the bed side so call table was a little shelf nailed to the wall and leaning at an angle, the air conditioning thermostat was...

This incredible property is the perfect place to stay while in Pinehurst. You know you're in the right place when you run into a guest at breakfast who grew up in Pinehurst and stays here when he returns for golf trips and relaxation. The owners were so accommodating, they really made our stay a unique and incredible experience. The location...

The "Mag", as it's known by locals, was a perfect choice for us. It was very comfortable but not at all swanky. We felt right at home, and the staff was so accommodating! It was quite a bit better than we had expected, and I plan to return again and again.
