Our absolute favorite place to camp...got email from them today (12/21/2015) stating the campground is permanently closed...there was a lawsuit pending with an inheritance situation on the land...apparently the case has been settled...so sad for campers!!!

This place is wonderful! The Bad: The road leading up to the campground is quite steep and narrow. We camp in a pop-up camper and we did "ok" coming in but I'm not sure how a larger RV can do it. It's quite possible as our "neighbor" had a huge RV. That's the end of the bad. The good: The...

My family and I went with a group to this campground and it worked out really well. Campsites were pretty close together which isn't a bad thing when you are with all the people around you - though if you are going on your own I would suggest taking a look at the map and making a reservation for a...

We really enjoy visiting and camping here. The location is great! Everything the area has to offer is easily accessible. Oskar Blues Brewery is a short drive. The strangest part about park is the no drinking rule. The staff are nice folks and seem to be willing to help if needed. I've not noticed them being to nosey. We have...

The good: the lake was awesome, clean, and the swimming area is a pretty good size. Keep in mind though, you can't have your pet on the beach. The bathroom was clean, as well as the campground in general. There is a store for basic supplies, and they even sell packets to make your fire change color. The bad: The...

I came in as a guest of another adult to help my daughter and son set up their campsite. I was treated suspiciously when I came in and given a 30 minute pass which I thought was strange. Inevitably it took longer than 30 minutes to help the kids get their tents and campsite set up. Security at the front...

To start. Getting to the park is a chore it's self. Not a great road for a 34ft travel trailer. This is not a 5th wheel friendly campground. After checking in at the store and getting direction to our campsite we tried to follow the poor design roads and map to the site. Missed a turn and found the boat...

If you like to camp in an RV or tent and like to feel like you are in a secluded mountain hideaway this is it! This place is well laid out and has a beautiful lake that you can either rent canoes or bring your own small water craft. There is no swimming pool but has a separate lake just...

My family and I had a wonderful experience at the Cascade Lake Recreation Area campground. The staff was amazing! The hosts did a great job to make our stay enjoyable. This is a great campground for families. No alcohol is permitted and it is not a "adult party place"... So, if that is your thing, you will not be happy...

Stayed here recently and enjoyed the stay. We stayed in site D19 which was wonderful. It basically on it's own peninsula out into the lake. Very private. Only downfall is that although it is rated for RV's up to 26' we had quite a bit of trouble getting our 20' travel trailer in there. It is a tight entrance through...
