This is a fabulous place to stay and I can't recommend it highly enough. The owners are really friendly and helpful but leave you alone to enjoy your stay. The room is first class. Large comfy bed and very high spec bathroom. Everything you need is catered for and the breakfast was tasty with plenty of choice... I especially like...

Stayed for New Year's Eve and went to a local restaurant for dinner. Our stay was wonderful, and enhanced by the superb hospitality of Sally and Simon, the owners. The room was lovely. Breakfast superb. Simon even took us to the restaurant for our meal and collected us when we'd finished. Can highly recommend. We will definitely be returning

We stayed for one night in November. The B&B was easy to find, we were welcomed on arrival by Sally, who made us most welcome and we were shown to our room. It was spacious and well equipped. Sally remembered we needed somewhere to eat and asked if we'd managed to find somewhere, which we thought was a nice personal...

Comfortable rooms with everything needed supplied. All of the 3 rooms upstairs looked nice. Catshaw Greave, which we had is the smallest, but looks out over the fields to the rear and has the best aspect for morning sun. There are no streetlights, so good if you like to sleep without curtains drawn. Plenty of hot and cold choices for...

I stayed for two nights at this gorgeous farmhouse which is like home from home but tidier! The rooms were of an excellent standard and the views were breathtaking. The breakfast was second to none and made to order. The hosts were friendly and welcoming. I would definitely stay again.

This was a most enjoyable stay. Sally made us very welcome and our ground floor room was fully equipped, with cooking facilities and an excellent wetroom. Breakfast was sumptuous and served in the conservatory, with far-reaching views over the fells. Everything was spotlessly clean and there was full information about the local area. The Fleece Inn, located 2km away in...

Beautiful setting and so peaceful. This b and b is off the beaten track but only 15 mins from Central Lancaster. I stayed for the night whilst attending University of Cumbria for some training. The room was lovely with everything needed for an overnight stay. Sally the owner recommended a local pub for food. Breakfast was delicious. Only thing to...

We couldn't fault anything about Greenbank Farmhouse. There were wonderful views whichever way you looked, the rooms well appointed, the beds were comfortable, the breakfast cooked to order, and Sally and Simon were helpful and attentive hosts. We loved our 3-night stay and would be happy to return any time during our daughter's time at university.

My wife and I stayed here recently to break our journey between Edinburgh and the Midlands. Everything is provided for a comfortable stay and all to a high standard. We were made very welcome. A good choice is offered for breakfast and served in the conservatory with a lovely view across a meadow to the Trough of Bowland fells. Sorry...

This is a great value B&B 20 mins from city centre, close to Lancaster University however your own transport is essential to stay here. Comfy, peaceful accommodation with panoramic view of fells behind. Close enough for trips to Lakes and Dales. Home grown eggs served with local bacon and sausages and home made bread. We are situated on the edge of the Forest of Bowland with the fabulous Trough road leading through towards Slaidburn and Clitheroe.
