Awesome place to stay very friendly staff and from what I heard the place has turned a 180 in direction so if you are worried about past rumors or truths you don't have to worry bout it anymore it's management is a plus in our book

This was our second time staying at Appalachian Inn. We will be back. We've stayed at a lot of B&Bs. This is, by far, our favorite one. Elizabeth maintains a beautiful home with comfortable furnishings and amazing views. Her meals are well prepared. We look forward to returning in the near future.

My husband and I wanted to visit Robbinsville area (beautiful lakes and Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest) and the Appalachian Inn was recommended by a friend. It's a beautiful mountain home with breathtaking views and every convenience readily available. Elizabeth is a wonderful host who makes you feel right at home. We asked her to prepare dinner for us and it... More

We enjoyed a lovely stay at the Appalachion Inn recently. Elizabeth has done an amazing job providing the perfect environment of wonder and relaxation. The rooms which she decorated herself are so tastefully done and interesting as well. We enjoyed an evening "picnic" on the back porch/deck overlooking the beautiful mountains and valley far below. The breakfasts that she prepared... More

After 2 attempts that didn't work out due to being booked up or a snow storm, we were finally able to stay at The Appalachian Inn. The log structure was built to be a B & B and it works. We stayed in the Bird Room which leads directly to the back porch with a view of the valley and... More

Last week we enjoyed another wonderful stay with Elizabeth at Appalachian Inn. Because we're on a motorcycle, we always ask her to provide supper (for a fee) the first night we arrive. A delicious Chicken Cordon Bleu with two sides and dessert was on the menu this year! The house is a fabulous log home with cathedral ceiling and a... More

Wonderful, luxurious cabin with great scenery. I stayed a few nights while hiking the Appalachian Trail and between Elizabeth's cooking and the jacuzzi tub in my room, it really was the perfect recharge I needed to get moving again. (Elizabeth: I helped out with that foreign lady on the phone! I'll be in Damascus tomorrow, thanks again!- Ryan)

The owner/manager, Elizabeth is a friendly vicarious person. Her breakfasts are delicious. She cooked an anniversary dinner and it was great. We plan to return. There is a quiet sitting area on top of a hill with a water feature.

I cannot say enough good things about the Appalachian Inn... The log cabin was so open and spacious, impeccably clean, and cozily inviting. Elizabeth's cooking, both her breakfast and dinners, were delicious, fresh and tastefully healthy. If you love nature, the mountains, beautiful sunrises, great cooking, and serenity then this is the place for you*
