Not suitable for western guests. No English speaking staff. Breakfast dishes for Koreans , no cutlery, coffee, tea, fresh eggs, fruit, salt, pepper, toast. Warm orange water and cakes with too much bicarbonate soda. Dining room decor dated and grubby, staff missing. A teacup in our room leaked and we had to endure 30 minutes of screaming by a housemaid...

My friend and I walked took 8 minutes on foot along a river side road from the Wulingyuan Gate of the Zhangjiajie Forest Park to the hotel. Many facilities are available at various sections of the Hotel. Clean, quiet, and wide environment. Breakfast service was included in our room charge. Can be regarded as a nice resort too. Free wifi...

The Wulingyuan Hotel is in a great location - just steps away from the main entrance to the Zhangjiajie National Park. However, everything else about this hotel was disappointing. The carpet had stains almost throughout the room and the room was very small and cramped for space. The bathroom had mold and mildew at various locations around the shower and...

First of all the front photo here is not the right hotel. Very strange. This is a decent hotel in a small town in Hunan, right at the base of the national park. We are a family of 4 so we had to rent two rooms with 1 queen bed each. So cheap that it didn't really matter. We found...

The acrid cigarette smoke filled lobby sounded a warning bell as we checked in and the flimsy construction that separated our room from noisy all night revellers and blaring TV did not help alleviate our concern. The breakfast catered for Korean tastes with salty pickles dominant and little light relief. Unfortunately, a disappointing stay.

Perfectly situated this hotel is nothing special and certainly not what it advertises itself as. Still, when you come to ZhangJiajie I suppose what matters is the park. Location is very good as it has a steady stream of taxis/ buses, which in this part is very handy if only to get back to the airport! Floor and door staff...

I've been in China for a week now, and this is the second hotel I've stayed at. I've also been to Taiwan, so I think I have an idea of what an Asian hotel is like. I'll also preface the review by saying that Chinese hotels aren't that great compared to Taiwanese. I think they're for the most part clean,...

Our tour group stayed at this hotel when we visited the Wulingyuan Scenic Area, a world heritage site in Zhangjiajie, Hunan Province, China. Although our tour promised 4-star hotels, this hotel was at best a 3-star hotel. The hotel was in cost-cutting drive: both lights in the corridor in front of my room were switched off the lights in the...
