Delicious food, wonderful staff and great cider. We have been here many times and keep coming back as its lovely. We always have a delicious meal, great coffee and great cider. Recommend to everyone as a great relaxed family pub, also a walk along Croyde beach is a must as it is such a beautiful place.

We always visit The Thatch when we're in Devon, this visit was as great as always. This time we chose chilli nachos and chilli and rice - good food, large portions, reasonable price and friendly service. Thank you.

I must have visited the Thatch countless times by now after living in N Devon for a few years. The food is a standard menu and they always update specials. Try the fish curry, absolutely NOT your average pub grub! They just about cater for vegetarian. Beer is always good and the life music in the week always turns out...

Our annual golfing trip to Saunton has just returned from 2 nights at the Thatch once again. Big thanks to all the crew for looking after us all and welcoming us. Special thanks to Natasha and all of the Reservations team who make the organisation so much easier. Thank you very much, see you in 2018.

Lovely little hotel and pub, great for a weekend surf trip. Good location with parking. Clean and modern rooms. The bar and restaurant were always busy, but well staffed and reasonably priced. The breakfast was brilliant! Highly recommend. The best accommodation in the area.

I always love going to the thatch after a day on the beach in winter. In Summer its super busy with a great vibe, this after 25 years of visiting was my first stay at the B&B, which was clean, functional and exactly as it says on the tin. Staff super cool

Well what can I say, this was an amazing little place, stayed here for 2 nights, arrived on Friday evening approx 8.30pm the receptionist was very kind and stayed till we arrived, we went straight to the bar for a drink and to order some food, the bar has a fantastic atmosphere, friendly bar staff, ordered Nachos and Macoroni Cheese,...

Can't beat the location if you want to be within walking distance to Croyde beach. The room we had was nicely decorated, however, in the morning, we were unable to get the shower to run hot. The breakfast was very average and nothing to rave about. Annoyingly when we left we found out our stay cost us more than quoted....

Generous portions of lovely food. Buzzy, but not raucous, atmosphere. Prawn cocktail was huge, spaghetti bolognaise generous and excellent, chicken, ham and tarragon pie superb. Only got the chance to eat here once unfortunately!

The food is good! There is no doubt about it. The ambience is brilliant with all the brass hanging from the ceiling! I ordered the curry, expecting a mediocre Sauce and rice but I'm very impressed with the spices used! Service ok but didn't like the waitress saying you have two hours before she seated us! You don't say that...
