All around was excellent. The room, the hots, the drinks and the breakfast. We felt at home.

We arrived after being told by the Seahorse Inn that our booking with them had been cancelled and they had no room for the night. It was after 4 pm on the Saturday of the long weekend. We found the last room at the Crown & Anchor and Lindsay's reassurance that a glass of champagne and some nibbles would help...

In addition to the very positive comments of others: we spent 3 nights at the Crown and Anchor and were made very welcome and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. In view of the season, fires were lit in the cosy parlour and in the drawing room which together with the more modern areas were spacious and thoughtfully-and interestingly-...

We arrived quite late after a very long drive so only got to see the amazing view the next morning. However, the lovely owners left cushions out on the chairs on the deck for us so we could enjoy the nightime views of the harbour while we enjoyed a bottle of wine after dinner. We stayed in the window room...

We had a great stay at the crown and anchor when in Eden. The views from the deck of the whole bay were amazing! The drinks on the deck upon arrival were also a great way to relax and meet other couples staying at the B&B and hear their stories. We stayed in the Bay room and it was clean...

We stayed in the Window Room which had beautiful views overlooking Twofold Bay. The old hotel has been restored to as near as possible to when it was built in the 1840's. Although the hotel was nearly fully booked, we felt as if we were by ourselves but had plenty of time to talk to the other guests at breakfast...

We stayed here on our drive to Melborne from Sydney and back with our daughters. The Crown and Anchor is a beautiful, cosy B&B and the owners were delightful - welcoming and discreet. The champagne and canapes were a lovely addition and much appreciated. We then had dinner up the road in the pub which was really and but the...

The setting is outstanding: on the edge of town standing on a headland with views of the ocean on two sides. The downside for such an old building on a stormy day can be imagined, but we did visit in the middle of winter! Inside is decorated with 19th century antiques and roaring log fires to fight off the draughts....

Everything about the crown and anchor was lovely. We were greeted with sparking wine and canapes and treated to a gorgeous view over the bay. Our room was fanastic, the hosts took care of our dinner plans, the after-dinner drawing room was very relaxing and breakfast was delightful.

We found the Crown and Anchor to be a charming little B&B and would happily have stayed longer if our travel plans had permitted. We were welcomed on arrival by the owners and shown to our beautiful "Blue" bedroom, complete with free standing bath. After showing us around our room, we were offered a guided tour of the rest of...
