We decided to take our two grandchildren on a little road trip and stopped off at the PC Railway Resort for the night. It was a pleasant surprise, the rooms were clean and the grandkids slept on the pull out couch which they were very excited to do! We had a good meal in the restaurant and the continental breakfast... More

We stayed here overnight in our caravan, the staff are very helpful and friendly. The coffee was fantastic and the homemade Vanilla Slice was very yummy. The food there looks wonderful, I was checking out other people's orders as they went out. The swimming pool and the interior of the restaurant is very well done.

We stayed here on July 12th and this is a great hotel for a day or two. We stayed in family accommodation with a pull out bed in the living area and queen bed in one room. Room was clean and comfortable for one night stay.. Continental breakfast was ordinary with bread and cereal. Wifi was the issue in the... More

The Pine Creek railway resort is a great little resort, use it as a base to see surrounding areas such as Umbrawarra Gorge and Edith falls. Cabins are lovely and clean and beds are comfy, they have all the amenities required for a great getaway. Take a dip in the pool or relax in the railway carriage inspired restaurant /... More

We had a two night stop over and both nights enjoyed a good meal at the restaurant. The rail carriage accommodation was unique but very comfortable, One carriage converted to a lounge, dining and kitchen area and the other was the bedroom. The bathroom was located in the passage way (shower one end and loo the other) between the two... More

We stayed in one of the converted rail cars and it far exceeded my expectations. Rooms are really clean, include a full sized refrigerator and plenty of space to cook, watch TV and sleep. For three people we paid $150, a slight discount provided due to Foxtel issues. This is the perfect place to rest transitioning between Litchfield and Kakadu.... More

Stopped here on our way down to Katherine and again on the way back. Would have stayed too if we hadn't such a tight time frame. Clean, well run and great coffee. Nice pool near the bar/cafe. Busy spot.

We had called ahead and were told all they had was a self catering room for $150/night. On arrival they offered us our desired room for $110. This was impressive. We were pleasantly surprised to arrive to a clean, well presented, oasis in pretty Pine Creek. The rooms are welcoming, quiet air conditioners and well maintained. The pool area is... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
I would like to introduce the brand new, Pine Creek Railway Resort. We have 18 stylishly furnished cabins ranging from single, queen, self-contained and family cabins. We have been in operation since 2009, have successfully completed the requirements of the Australian Tourism Accreditation Standard and are an accredited tourism business. We are the Crossroads to Kakadu, Litchfield and Douglas Daly regions. Only 1 hours’ drive to Cooinda – Yellow water cruises and 1 hours’ drive to Katherine. Rated 4.5 stars, all of our cabins are air-conditioned and include Foxtel, comfortable beds with clean linen and are finished with unique décor. With our lagoon style, shaded swimming pool, guests are welcome to cool themselves down from the outback heat. We have also recently completed constructing our Restaurant which is built in the shape of two trains parked at a Railway Station, which is furnished and styled after Pine Creeks’ Chinese heritage. Complete with a showcase of images from local archives and attractions, the Pine Creek Railway Resort has already become a talking point up and down the Stuart Highway, and is a long overdue attraction to the town. Our restaurant offers ready to go food which will be an advantage with your clients when calling into Pine Creek. We also have complimentary refreshments and all day breakfasts on offer for the driver. Our air-conditioned, a la carte restaurant features poolside and alfresco dining, over 40 items on our menu and is a chic, yet comfortable way to dine. ... more   less
