I stayed the last 16 days there and enjoyed every single day. It is a really nice place to relax and chill. Just takes you 5 min to walk to the beach. They have a really good kitchen with everything you need + freezer and a little oven. The Staff is awesome as well !! Best hostel I've been so... More

I came here and booked 4 nights. The hostel is very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. You can play drinking games or just chill out. I like how they have different common areas to chill and hang out. The fire pit is the best! Duke is the most precious one and the secret boss of the hostel.... More

This place is so nice. The staff is so friendly and the facillities are great. It is near the Beach and all the shops and it is easy to find. This place lets you do what you want - so nice. The kitchen is nice and big and there is room for everybody.

Its a lovely hostel, and the owner really tries to do his best on giving the hostel the best experience. He is very friendly, which to me makes a huge difference on how much i like a place. Also, something that many hostels have yet to figure out, which im surprised, is that they have a pet!

I have mixed feelings about our stay here at Backpackers @ 1770. We arrived via Greyhound bus at 6:15am, and were picked up by a shuttle (even though the hostel really is only a 3 min walk away) so I thought that was a lovely extra touch. My friend and I had reserved a private double room, so I waited... More

Hi Jessica, We’re glad you enjoyed most of your time at the hostel but are very sorry about the issues you experienced with us. We do our best to accommodate everyone on many different busses coming at all times of the day and night, however it seems we have let you down on this issue. In regards to your check... More

Honestly first place I've left a review for, was one of the cleanest hostels I've ever been in and the vibe there was amazing. The staff were super friendly and helpful! 100% Recommend for a stay! They took us out on the coastal walk on their off time, and helped me out fix up my car! Left my bags there... More

My stay at Backpackers @ 1770 in Agnes Water was a very good one. They have a very hippie/surfer vibe, super relaxed. On the plus side, the personnel was very helpful with organizing my activities and giving me info on this small city. They offer a sunset tour for 5$ which was very nice. The 10-12 places female dorm was... More

A quick 1 night stopover here. Was a good experience. Staff greeted us at bus stop! A very short walk away but it helped with our bags. They took time to show us around. Music plays most of the day. Kitchen is really well stocked. Seems to have everything you can think of! Seems they did have a lot more... More

Only stayed here for 2 nights unfortunately I could have stayed for a hell of alot longer. Its a great little hostel with awesome staff who are very helpful and easy to get along with. Very laid back vibe and the $5 dinners are a cracking feed. Will certainly be back.
