Rooms were huge, neat and tidy, pool was relaxing, for the price it was good. However the receptionist lady was very un professional and rude. I asked the question " any chance for an earlier check in time" ( I thought it wont hurt to ask, other places let you in early sometimes around 12 or 1pm and my baby...

Love staying at the Rainbow Sands Resort. Feels like a honeymoon holiday. It's lovely, blue lit pool at night, sauna and spa, all for reasonable pricing. White cockatoos come for a visit, upper level rooms are my favorites - in the palm trees. Rooms are basic and clean. Staff is great too! Very helpful!

Beds and couches were very uncomfortable. very dirty air con didn't work 100%, when I asked the old bird about it she said well the last people didn't have any complaints so its fine. Very rude. would ever stay there again

Simple budget motel rooms, clean and comfy bed, nice pool, split system a/c, friendly staff anything extra like towels and coffee were no problem. Sports club straight across the road easy walk. Would stay again no problem

This motel was perfect for what we needed as we were in town for a Nipper's Carnival. It was walking distance to the beach and all hotels etc. and the kids had a lot of fun in the pool. The cost per night is perfectly in line for what you - we would stay again. The managers were also extremely...

We stayed one night in this motel. We decided a bit late to travel to rainbow beach so the most hotels were already booked out. So we called this motel if they they have a room for us. That was no issue at all and the staff was really friendly. But as we entered the room and especially the bathroom...

The receptionist was very accommodating. She set our families up on ground floor, in front of the pool. The rooms were neat and tidy and comfortable. Could not have been happier with the set up. Thank you Rainbow Sands.

As stated in the sign at the entrance to the “Resort”, it is budget family accommodation. There was no table, no hair drier, very limited cutlery and utensils, a microwave oven, an electric kettle, an air-conditioner, 1 chair and two 1-seat sofas. The room was quite cramped.

We stayed here for two nights. The accomadation is dated but is clean and comfortable. We had a ground floor unit which was great but lacked a bit of privacy as you can see into the units from the pool and carpark. A blind on the window behind the front door would be good as there are blinds on the...

We stayed here the night before we went over to Fraser Island for the week. The reception got very confused when we booked 3 x 1 bedroom apartments together (months in advance) and we ended up all over the resort. It was difficult with little kids. It was budget but comfortable enough. Good for overnight stays.
