Nice stay, friendly staff, nice room. Sunsets are brilliant and barra at fish and chip shop across the road is superb. For a remote area this is a nice oasis. Internet is weak to the point of virtually useless. No matter...

We had booked three nights but decided to stay for four. The motel is in a great location at Karumba Point and is very clean and comfortable. The rooms are very quiet and spacious. The barbeque area on the water front is the perfect spot for a cold drink while watching the sunset. It's a comfortable easy walk to fishing...

Recently stayed at this motel for the second time. Previously I did one night last year but this trip I stayed for four nights. The location is pole position in the town of Kurumba. Right on the water front and they have an excellent BBQ area with tables and chair beach side so you can enjoy the magnificent gulf of...

We stayed there for one night and everything was perfect. Spacious, nicely equipped, very quiet room and clean room. The motel is good located and close to the beach, where we could enjoy a beautiful sunset. One negative point for us was, that the A/C was set on 23 degrees which was a bit too hot for us.

We came down from Kowanyama for a break and we're in 7th heaven. The room was very comfortable and clean with everything in place. Being just next door to the pub with excellent meals. We couldn't have been happier.

The people who live and work in this town are most friendly. One of the best sunsets we have seen. Ashers acrossthe rowd has the best barra you have ever tasted. The hotel is right next door with also a great look at the sunset and nice cold beer.

We had three nights in the two bedroom beachfront apartment. Apartment was very clean and equipped with everything we needed. We sat outside and enjoyed great sunsets each night. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

After a long drive on gravel roads, a very welcoming motel. Located right at the shores of the Gulf of Carpentaria. Very modern motel, kept in first class condition with good facilities. Watch the Sunset from the motel's barbecue area whilst enjoying a cold beer and great Barra. (Barra country!) Great location for fishing or making a trip into the...

We were very pleased with our room here. It was clean, cool and comfortable and had great access to views of the Norman River and out to the Gulf of Carpentaria. There appears to be good fishing available, too. Good choice for weary travellers!
