We booked Collingrove Homestead very last minute for our wedding anniversary and we were not disappointed. It was absolutely charming and picturesque with so much history. The hosts Marcia and Andrew were delightful and went out of their way to ensure our weekend away was amazing. They made a gorgeous venue even better. The gardens are stunning and the rooms...

There isn't much not to love about Collingrove Homestead. From the personal greeting and tour from the lovely Marcia upon arrival right through to the farewell following a beautiful home cooked breakfast starring plenty of local produce the next day cooked and served by Andrew. This place is an absolute gem. Plenty of places to indulge in food and wine...

This hotel was great in almost every way. Great hosts who are super friendly and provide local insights, comfortable rooms and incredible breakfasts on the verandah. The old house is just magnificant, and takes you back to a time in the 1800's - can really tell why so many people have weddings here. The grounds are in super condition and...

We spent 4 wonderful days in this lovely homestead. The history of the homestead and both Marcia and Andrew knowledge of the area was fantastic. We stayed in the "Workshop" which had the biggest and most comfortable bed l have ever slept in,with both ensuite and kitchenette and a fantastic air conditioner we couldn't ask for more. The room was large,...

Soak up the atmosphere of a time gone by. I loved looking through the old house and imagining life back in the day... The old metal bath without a tap and the kitchen were particularly entertaining. Even the complicated family tree on the wall was of interest to visitors. Make sure you book in for a Devonshire tea with lashings...

My husband and I had the most amazing long weekend at Collingrove homestead. The history in the home it's self is worth the stay but add in the amazing breakfast on the front porch, the super comfortable bed & pillows (which I think can make it or break your accomodation) and the ever so accomodating hosts in Marcia and Andrew,...

I recently spent 2 nights at Collingrove Homestead - Marcia and Andrew were very hospitable, beautiful breakfast on the verandah in the morning sun. We stayed with 2 other couples so booked 3 rooms, they were all different but the same price so I recommend asking what you get with your room. Our rooms all had ensuites but another couple...

I was looking for somewhere special to stay on a birthday weekend in the Barossa for my husband. This beautiful historic homestead really fits the bill. Just 5k from Angaston, you are really immersed in the countryside. The gardens are exquisite and the homestead worthy of royalty - apparently Prince George stayed there! As the homestead is registered by the...

I'm going to keep this simple. If you're heading to the Barossa Valley for a few days, then I would HIGHLY recommend you stay with Marcia and Andrew at Collingrove Homestead. Located just outside Angaston, this is a brilliant piece of Australian history into which you can immerse yourself. And having 150+ years of history around you would be ordinarily...
