Just returned home from a very relaxing three days staying at Lyndoch Hill, my friend and myself found the staff very friendly, the room was fresh, welcoming and comfortable. The restaurant provided magnificent food for the cooked breakfast and the two dinners we had during our stay. The gardens were lovely and we had plenty of paths to walk and found...

The location is good, the rooms and bathrooms are a good size but the place is old, really old. The place reeks of short cuts and cost cutting. There are new AC units in the units but the old window rattlers have not been removed. There is no water pressure in the shower but worst of all, the toilet cistern...

Lyndoch Hill is located within an hour of Adelaide and at the entrance to the Barossa Valley. The rooms are comfortable, but dated. All rooms look out onto the extensive gardens that surround the accommodation and they surround a central swimming pool. The complex offers onsite breakfast and dining. One of the onsite features worth seeing is the Chateau Yaldara,...

I agree with previous reviews in Feb 2017 - the hotel accommodation and grounds are very disappointing. What was probably a beautiful garden filled with 30,000 roses is now simply filled with 30,000 weeds. The palms are dead. The pond is almost empty and filled with algae. Trees are dying. The rooms are not much better and appear to be...

The room was outdated and not clean, ranging from floor to ceiling. Bathroom was another disappointment: no shower curtain, not proper toilet paper, nowhere to put your toiletries ... basically, not money worth spending!!!

We stayed here recently for a few days, having bought a package through another company. From all the photos we'd seen we were expecting far more than what was delivered. The photos were obviously taken a long time ago! The drive to the complex made us nervous, the gardens looked neglected. As we approached reception it didn't improve. Checking in...

We recently spent two nights at Lyndoch Hill and while the grounds were amazing with their 33 thousand roses and the pool area was relaxing we were a little disappointed with our accomodation. Other rooms had little balconies at the back which we didn't but I am sure it would be lovely to fit out there on summer evenings with...

Totally disappointing and misleading. The hotel does not resemble the photos at all. An over priced old fashioned motel. I wish I'd read the reviews prior to booking and stayed away. Our family room overlooked a crappy tin shed and the girls bedroom was like a lean to with old fashioned air-con that pumped lukewarm air.

After looking at the photos I decided to book 2 rooms for myself and my family who were visiting from Perth. The photos were air brushed I'm sure and the reality was very disappointing. It's just a tired motel with not much upkeep particularly at the back of the motel. We booked for Christmas Night and were advised there would...

Service and location was excellent. Set in the grounds of a French-style Chateau, the location is beautiful and the check-in and service was quick and welcoming. The rooms are motel style and a little dated, but spacious and clean. Lyndoch township and very good cafe and restaurant options are 5 mins drive or 15 walk away. We would return and...
