The gorgeous Eucalyptus nearby is worth sitting down and enjoying but the informative wine tasting with a very entertaining Nicholas really made this experience. He was funny, gave us a wealth of information on the history of the winery and the family, the wines themselves and kept us interested and laughing through the entire event.

Even though our stay was so short it was a wonderful addition to our honeymoon!!! Thea next door in the tasting room is a sweet heart def stop in and see her and taste some wines. Once you find your little cottage your worries seem to fade away!

Jacobs Creek retreat (not associated with the Jacobs Creek winery) is a gorgeous, charming little hamlet of genuinely historic and reproduction stone cottages nestled amongst a mysterious and beautiful, intimate garden with a well maintained pool, right by Jacobs Creek itself. Attached at the back, by the road, is the Moorooroo Park Vineyard cellar door, a tiny stone lean-to with...

Lovely old accommodation with nice spa bath. truly romantic accommodation. We loved the beautiful gardens. Thje staff were helpful and very friendly. We went to Vintners for dinner and used a locally owned Taxi company to drive us both ways. Thanks to Jacobs Creek retreat and Barossa Taxis for making our stay a experience to remember.

What a parc, rosegarden, pool, surrounding...a setting for aristocrats. The chalets are small, well appointed for visitors and do offer goodies from the region. Draw back: staff acts quite amateur like. Still a strong suggestion for n extended stay in wonderful Barossa.

We stayed 2 nights in the loft suite and were quite disappointed. The cottage is very cramped, poorly lit, and with a limited kitchen. The bathroom is well appointed with a beautiful bath, but is poorly lit, particularly the double shower. Up 2 flights of very steep stairs, (almost a ladder) to the loft bedroom. Not easy with suitcases! The...

What a magnificent place! My partner and I were greeted on arrival with a private wine tasting and then shown around the estate and facilities. Our gorgeous little cottage awaited us with fresh flowers, chilled wine and romantic music playing. The big spa bath, which fits 2 people, was a great place to relax whilst listening to music and drinking...

The grounds are lovely but that was about it for my husband and myself who stayed recently. I ended up more stressed and tired than when we arrived. * no where to put luggage * broken tap on spa * fridge that rattles the entire cabinet it is housed in comes on for 15min every half hour sounds like a...

Recently stayed in one of the more deluxe rooms and arrived early in the morning to find that the room (quite large in size) was not heated with a fire place nor was any heating on. The result being the room was colder inside than the temperature outside. The heating provided was an undersized split system that took 12 hours...

My wife and I were visiting from New York and found this is an amazing little hidden gem. Perfect location and a romantic picturesque venue to explore all wineries. We were only there for a short time but would have stayed there for a week if we had the time. The pool looked amazing but it was a little cold...
