After a change to our planned journey we found ourselves needing a stop over in Goulds Country en route to the Bay of Fires. What a fabulous find! Such a picturesque house set in stunning surroundings, the views across the valley are beautiful. If you are in this area this is a MUST stay place. We were given a lovely... More

The hosts were the most in their hospitality. We we pampered and delighted with the quiet and scenic setting. Their was more than we could eat for breakfast and we were directed to a pub in a paddock for tea which had atmosphere plus!

More for less. Great hosts who go out of their way to make your stay one to remember. There were so many places to see within 20 minutes of the guest house. The wildlife in the nearby area was a great attraction every night we drove back to the guest house.

The wonderful is the setting. Set in dairy country at the top of a hill the views are incredible. The owners are friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The rooms are one downstairs and two upstairs that share a shower. Rooms adequate and very clean. The owner offers wine for sale at a bargain price and there is a shared... More

The guest house is located in an idyllic picturesque valley not far from the stunning Bay of Fires and the charming Blue Tiers. The hosts of the guest house are extremely welcoming, helpful and generous and the facilities are comfortable and very clean. My husband and I enjoyed very much our peaceful stay there.

A short drive (about 15 to 20min country km's) out of the fabulous St Helens brings you to a beautifully restored incredibly spacious home which is a restored former post office. This is a B&B farm stay style accommodation (edge of farm) with a short (800m) of dirt road snaking up a picturesque valley. This is a gem; the facilities,... More

This B and B experience was a great find. Don't be put off at first glance by the possibility that it may be isolated, it is not. If you are travelling in North Eastern Tasmania it is a great spot to overnight, with an evening meal available if requested. Apart from everything one could ask for from a well managed... More

Rosemary and Charlie are gracious hosts and their home is a charmingly restored c1870 former post office. There are three rooms catering for a maximum of six guests. Essentially you share the home with the owners and other guests but there's no pressure to socialise if you'd prefer to sit and read or just enjoy the idyllic surrounds of Gould's... More

This place is beautiful, modern and spacious and yet still feels like a real home - helped by how welcoming and friendly the hosts were! The views and setting were lovely, the location good (well placed for the awesome Bay of Fires) and the breakfast was great. Would definitely recommend this place :)

Everything hit the mark for the price we paid and the location. Nothing too fancy, just the right amount of simplicity and welcoming attention. Very clean, comfortable bed, spacious room, quite. We also shared the shower with another room, which was not a problem at all since the place was very well maintained and clean. Breakfast was quite plain: a... More
