We stayed in room 3 as a stopover on our way to mount Hotham. The owners sent welcome details and answered questions as well as sorting car parking for us - I'm very grateful for this. The location is ideal and close to bus stops and eating locations

Great lodge! Very friendly and accommodating staff considering our short notice. Felt very homely and warm at night as we are from qld not used to the cold! The bed was so comfortable that we stayed an extra night! Would definitely stay again

1. Heating totally inadequate, particularly as it is in an alpine area with very cold overnight temperatures. 2. There is virtually no dining area. The "dining area" consists of a very small drop sided table placed in the entrance squashed between a lounge and the wall. 3. Trying to have a shower over the bath was a constant battle with...

After a full day up at Mt Hotham we came into our room to find a few little surprises. First surprise was my bed was extremely bowed in the middle (single bed in the lounge), first thing everyone noticed. Second thing was the large amount of vomit that was stuck to the bowl of the toilet from previous guests. It...

We had unit 3 in early June and it was very very cold in Bright. Freezing overnight and only up to 8 during the day. As a result we had to have the air con on heat going for the whole night. Get the setting right or you'll wake up a bit hot. The lounge wasn't as bad as what...

My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights for my sons wedding. Beautiful grounds and a great location. Units are clean and comfortable but very basic in other ways. Mattress was sagging in the middle and had to be turned over - better but not as good as it could be. Basic kitchen implements. Shower - not the best...

Good clean accommodation for a large group. Gardens are lovely and very private. Communal outdoor area suited our family as there were 20 of us. Easy stroll to the main Street and water park. Comfortable beds. Highly recommended if you want reasonably priced clean accommodation for a large group.

These well presented old style lodges are in an excellent location close to everything. They are quiet and next to a beautiful creek. BBQ facilities (communal) are excellent and we certainly enjoyed the spa bath in cabin number 5. These lodges offer plenty of space even sharing with 4 people. Owner was very helpful and knowledgeable.

We booked Elm Lodge via the very helpful staff at the Bright Tourist Information and were very pleased with our choice. It is an older place with several units which have been updated to an adequate and comfortable level; it had a well equipped kitchen, barbecue area, outdoor seating and use of laundry. The location is perfect - very close...
