We were looking forward to our stay. Upon arrival we were informed about the closure of amenities block. The portable toilets and portable shower units were not good. There was no lighting around the units and only two toilets had lights. We had a very nice site But the trees were leaking sticky sap on car and van . My...

We booked a cabin here for two nights. Checked the website and confirmed by phone call all bedding and linen provided. Website said electric blankets supplied which is good as Bright is regarded as an alpine village. Arrived late on a cold May night to no electric blanket and one light blanket plus one summer weight doona. Rates here are...

The only thing going for this place is the location, beside the river & close to town. We occupied a caravan site during the Autumn Festival. We were not told of the Portable Toilet/Shower Amenities at the time of booking nor when we arrived. On the Saturday night the power to the riverside vans tripped out at least 4 times....

We are a group of 16 people who recently stayed at this Park.. Location is excellent. The entire park is in need of updating. We had a cabin which was ok but taps were leaking and very hard to turn on and off. Campsites had to use portaloos and showers which were very tight, very difficult to keep things dry...

We camped here over the peak Easter period. The bathroom and laundry amenities were shut and replaced with portaloos and showers which were smelly and poorly lit. The hot water service in the camp kitchen broke down on Good Friday, leaving campers with no running hot water. All this of is tolerable if management demonstrate the basics of customer service,...

Disgusting porto loos, no lights in toilets. Asbestos still on site. No lighting in common areas. No sink at camp kitchen BBQ . 90 cm between back and front of site. Mud , 1 metre tree stump and fire hose in the middle of one site. For $90 a night we expected a lot more!

Pretty disappointed by the way management handled their ammenities being condemned - they didn't tell anyone so a rude surprise after putting up the tent. One expects normal amenities and a laundry when that's what is promised. The portaloos were not lit at night and you had to shower before night struck in showers that had no extra room for...

This camp ground would get a 5/5 for location, right by the river, walk to everywhere in town, but we won't be coming back next time we come to Bright. The toilets etc look like they were built in the 1950's and don't appear to comply with modern building codes. While staff do a good job of keeping them clean,...

The position of this park is the reason we stay. It is so close to everything Bright has to offer- shops, on the beautiful ovens river , a short walk to the playground and water park. We had a family holiday with our 4 kids and grandchildren. Hired a 2 bedroom flat (clean, retro and roomy) and 2 powered sites...
