After a lovely drive down to Dwellingup from Perth we turned south onto Nanga Road then left into River Road. Dodging potholes in the shadows cast by the forest around us as the sun started heading for the horizin we came upon our destination in a clearing. WOW !! Very impressive entrance driving around a dam to the main building... More

Found this place online and as per the website sent an email to Dwellingup B&B requesting availability and prices. We got a prompt reply and were really happy to with everything. We replied to the email saying we would love to book and enquired on how we confirm the booking and make payment. The owners never replied and we didn't... More

I didn't meet the owners but Dave the caretaker was very helpful. Drove us into town and picked us up after our dinner. He was very friendly and had good knowledge of things to do in the area. We loved out chalet, had a lovely break

Excellent value - the walks with the kangaroos and campfire was a highlight. Very quiet and good place to escape from the busy life. Close to the steam train and lane Poole park, which our child enjoyed very much. Definitely come back again.

We had a lovley long weekend away, with no mobile reception, no internet and no TV. The chalet we stayed in was very well equipped and the pot belly stove was a big plus. It was so relaxing sitting on the balcony with a glass of wine or two and a Charcuterie Board, listening to the wild life while talking.... More

A very peaceful getaway, the fire was lit and a bottle of wine was waiting for us upon arrival, everything you could want for a pleasant break. The chalet we had was Red Robin which has a great view of the bird life enjoying their bath time. The setting is fabulous and very memorable.

We arrived in the early evening and met Dave the new caretaker. For his first trick he sent us off down a dead end road to the wrong chalet. After managing to back around we turned back and followed his vehicle to the correct chalet - Kookaburra. It was very nice but very cold. Dave hadn't thought to have the... More

Wonderful getaway set in lovely gardens. Thoroughly enjoyed our overnight (wish it was longer) stay. Immaculate cosy room overlooking grounds with kangaroos and plentiful birds. Loved the blue wrens on balcony. Delicious breakfast and thanks for railway drop off and pickup.

A uniquely beautiful location in the middle of the Dwellingup woods. As soon as you arrive the beauty and peacefulness of the surroundings captures you. The quality of the air, the richness of the fauna and the most spectacular range of birds, its all there. The facilities themselves are very well kept and of high standard. If you do like... More

This place is an ideal location, only a short getaway from Perth, yet you feel like you have driven all the way down South. Do yourself a favour and stay here for a weekend away from the big smoke. Lovely cottages with all amenities, friendly hosts that feed the roo's and lots of wildlife which the kids loved. Only concern... More
