Built in 1927 and nestled beneath gum trees overlooking the township, the Latin word Salve - Welcome - on the threshold tells you this is no ordinary country pub. The New Norcia Hotel was originally a hostel for the parents of the boarders at the New Norcia colleges, but is now a practical expression of the Benedictine tradition of hospitality and the Hotel's classic style will take your breath away as you approach the double front doors. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are available and whether you are after a quick snack on the run or a more relaxing meal, the Hotel will be able to cater for you.Seasonal menu's are prepared and range from fresh soup that is prepared each day to larger meals or even a good old fashioned burger. Sunday night is pizza night and all bases are cooked in New Norcia's wood-fired oven. Open daily for lunch between 12:00 - 2:00pm (2:30pm on weekends) and for dinner between 6:00 - 8:00pm (8:30pm Friday and Saturday) Closed Christmas Day & Boxing Day.

I love heritage hotels that take you back in time. New Norcia was an amazing experience with a vintage touch. There are only 16 rooms with shared bathrooms for male/female. Beds were comfy for us. Service was out of this world. Definitely will return for...More
