I have stayed here before and rated it higher but this time I reduced it to average. This hotel is starting to show its age but my room was clean and in order when I arrived and you cannot complain about that. They still advertise a free breakfast and that is true. But C19 hit this hard. It used to be an in house prepared hot breakfast with many options but now there are an assortment of Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches and the microwave to heat them plus individual single serve packets of condiments, paper plates and plastic utensils. There is also yogurts in the cooler. There was also a nice assortment of packaged pastries and a couple of different blends of coffee. A do it yourself breakfast but no place to sit and eat. You have to take it to your room as all the tables were closed. There was no room service either but the front desk would get you anything you needed with fresh towels and such. I can make my own bed and keep the room in order so it really isn't a hardship. I think my only complaint was that the fan in the AC was a growler. Just a much different place than it was pre-covid. The public spaces were clean as they always have been and someone sanitizes around the areas so I don't think you had to worry much, plus masks were required as always. The travel industry is still suffering.…
Only stayed here one night and this is an average hotel. Grounds need to be cleaned up some, trash is on the ground, Rooms are in need of a little TLC, lots of wear. The toilet handle has to be manually pushed up or it runs. A/C is really loud, sounds like its on its last leg. Wanted to tell the staff on departure, but they we're on their cell phone. One positive is that they got rid of the crazy $150.00 incidentals fee. Stayed here several months ago, went to my room and a charge of $150.00 showed up without notice. Went to the front desk and to ask and before I even got to the desk, she was telling me the answer.
The staff makes you feel welcome from the moment you check in. Everyone is so friendly and goes out of there way to make sure you have a good experience. The breakfast buffet is fully staffed and the housekeeping makes sure everything is just right.
Exceeded expectations for last minute booking. Great service, super friendly staff, comfortable beds, room didn't smell like stale cigarettes!! Very clean and felt safe during our stay. Didn't get a chance to use the pool.
Whomever was responsible for preparing the breakfast station decided not to show up for work. When I asked the staff at the front desk I got a rather dull, I don't care response, that she didn't know how to prepare breakfast. No apologies, no "I've called the manager and it will be taken care of shortly". Just, "she didn't show and I don't know how to do it." It was very clear that I was annoying her with my questions.
