We had a 2 room suite, at the end of the hotel. There’s a living room/kitchenette, and a large quiet king bedroom. The first thing you’ll notice is how pleasant checkin goes. We arrived at our room, and it was Spotless! It’s so nice to enter a room, and not find stains on the tables, and everything being well maintained. Both TVs, and fridge and microwave in great working order.
Room was clean, Good tv. Not set up for lounging in common areas Just best as a place to sleep. Breakfast was self service and had some hot items. Owners are on site and overall hospitable but very business like.
Well located within minutes of all the Pinehurst points of interest and around the corner from quaint downtown Southern Pines. This Econo Lodge is totally functional, really clean, quiet, inexpensive and well situated in the area. The breakfast is modest at best but you will not be hungry in the morning when you set out. The room are standard for a lodge of this caliber but they look recently renovated and are well maintained. Yes they are very dog friendly and I saw a bunch of them. They have smoking and non-smoking rooms segregated by internal entry ways so they don't ever get to the non-smoking side. I just really enjoyed this place. The owners are very pleasant and eager to help. They watch out for their customers needs and requests. I plan on a yearly visit to Pinehurst to enjoy its many amenities and this is certainly a bargain given all the attention the owners put in to it. Don't be afraid of the Econo Lodge sign these folks do a great job.…
I was alone for a quick trip to Pinehurst and wanted an inexpensive hotel for one night. This one fit the bill. Econolodges are not my favorite in the Choice motel stable. This one was very different. The room was nicely appointed with a 40-inch tv and good internet connection. The room included two overstuffed chairs and a King sized bed. The entrance to the room was inside rather than outside which I dislike. I could tell that the owners do a lot of the work themselves and that they take pride in their work.
My husband and I stayed here while visiting my parent’s grave site which we try to do every year. We were happy with the very affordable rate and the cleanliness of our room. The complimentary breakfast was adequate. The owners/managers were very friendly and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again when making our annual visit to Southern Pines.
